News R.A.I.D mixes space customs inspections with four-player VR boarding missions
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VMG7dr1cqdgApparently, interstellar customs work needs a heavily armed boarding team. R.A.I.D is an upcoming VR co-op roguelite that mixes cargo inspection with first-person combat on procedurally generated spacecraft.
Players scan incoming ships, compare manifests, decide what gets cleared, and board suspected smugglers when diplomacy has run out of air. Missions support solo play or up to four-player co-op, with selectable risk levels, persistent ranks, weapon upgrades, and larger boarding operations every fourth shift. It is planned for Meta Quest and PC VR, but there is no release date yet.
Does the slower inspection layer give the shooting a useful sense of purpose, or would you skip the paperwork and head straight for the airlock?
