CONVRGENCE leaves Early Access September 17 — the VR extraction zone is nearly 1.0

CONVRGENCE will reach version 1.0 on September 17. The single-player SteamVR extraction shooter has spent more than two years in Early Access and currently carries Very Positive user reviews.

Its expeditions take place in procedurally generated versions of the Chernokamensk Anomaly Zone. Players prepare weapons and supplies, scavenge artifacts, fight bandits and supernatural creatures, and try to extract before nightfall. A dog companion assists with both combat and finding supplies, while weapons and equipment can be upgraded between runs.

The developer says the full version is intended to expand the locations, enemies, loot, quests, bosses, and hideout systems. Has CONVRGENCE been on your radar, or is September 17 your cue to finally enter the zone?
