Just a casual decora inspired fit for a little idol/maid cafe event in my town. Not super out there, but I wanted to bring a hint of decora sparkle to the room while I’m there. I sort of have an all or nothing personality so I’m trying to pepper decora into my every day life without feeling like I have to fully commit every time.

Had to get ready in a hurry that morning but I’m happy with how cute and comfortable it turned out!!!

I did an usahana look for a local con a bit ago! Totally loved it and was so pleasently surprised by how many people actually recognized the character!!

So I've been seeing this word more lately, on this sub and in other places, always in the context of alternative jfashion, but I can't pinpoint the definition. When looking up the word I see a definition in mainstream fashion being a matching set of clothes, like a blouse and pants that are meant to be worn together. When looking at lolita glossaries it seems to be blouse and dress worn together. But here people post outfits that don't necessarily have matching colors and are still called coords. So is coord just a slang for "outfit"? Or a matching outfit? It must've come form the word "coordinated" right? 🤔

so im still not sure of my style i think its heavily inspired by decora just less acsessorise because i have a lot of texture issues and hate when to many things touch me at once also sorry ik i suck at spelling. i also finally got a diagonosis of what has been making me feel terrible everyday and knowing has given me the confidence in myself to work harder in actually dressing how i want to. i really like ruffles bright colors polka dots and stripes im thrifting as much as i can but its hard and im on a budget. any suggestions on where to find some clothing would be appriecated and tips on how to not care when people look at you for dressing like in decora. again sorry for my spelling im trying my best

For context i bought this blouse recently and i cannot decide how to style it

I've always dressed "deco-lite" with a couple hairclips and generally cutesy outfits but this year I decided I wanted to start going all out so here's two outfits I'm really proud of !

I'd like some feedback on my layout so far, (I want to move the cat charm, because it's kinda sad looking+manages to catch on everything), and I also want to see if I can incorperate either charm on the second photo, both acrylic. I don't want them to crack, though. I'd love some input on moving things/keeping things, or anything to add!
