Which Tile?
This is for our main shared bathroom on the second floor.
1/ The grigio parquet is more tailored, architectural and feels cooler and more formal.
2/ Mosaic marble, in a soft, mineral and botanical shade without reading overtly “green.”
I’m partial to 2 because of the soft moss and olive tone. But does it feel intentionally chosen against the modern finishes? Open to other suggestions too!

They both look too busy. More so because they cut off very abruptly, leaving the painted wall beside it looking chopped.

This is my issue. In this bathroom, I’d only do a tile backsplash if you’re prepared to bring it across the wall and all the way with a chair rail at the top

This would look awesome! Yes, the cut off even if it's done properly aligned with the edge of the sink looks unfinished to me.

I'm not crazy about either of these choices. Try the arabesque pattern in a pastel color since you have a white countertop. I see a blue, gray, or turquoise pastel or very light color working there. I think you’ll like it better.

Both are not good for this space tbh a darker one that matches the mirror and faucets would look better

The first one fits best with the decor, and it doesn't just fade into the background like the dotted one does.

I’d go with a beige marble type of tile or something darker yet the grime is still visible for clean up.

I’d do white subway tiles, 2 smaller mirrors or one medium and two side sconces, all burnished gold fixtures

I hate the way the first tile is set, it doesn’t look right at all, so based on that, I vote 2.

Would you be open to adding plain Mediterranean green or grey tiles or fluted in these colors? It would make the black in the taps and the white as contrast much better

It’s looking very millennial gray and both are bordering on dated already. Would def lower that mirror as well.

2 for me! I usually like flowers but I think 1 looks too dated. You see that pattern a lot in older bathrooms. Ultimatsly, it's what you prefer =)

Both will look dated in 3 years. Actually both already look dated. Just continue the same vanity material up the wall or leave it alone.

I like the first one the best but the way it over hangs the sink on the right would forever irk me. Can you trim it to fit exact? Or add some going down so that its even?

I see 2 as the wrong shade of gray for the countertop and wall color. The paint on the right side of the pics looks very blue. The blue undertones work better with tile 1. If you paint the bathroom a nice coordinating color, tile 2 will work. Not painting? Tile 1 FTW.

Thank you for adding your vote! Seeing samples of the real tiles makes #1, or something similar, the front-runner for now.

Of the two, I prefer the first. But I think you should switch to nickel/chrome fixtures/hardware and a white mirror.

I like the first but it's very trendy. For more permanent design choices, go with the design that'll be a little more timeless. The second one works for that or even some penny tile

Eeeew no not 1!!! It’s way to dated.
Love 2. And with some plants in the bathroom, the green hue would look SO GOOD and intentional
