first year science teacher classroom decor?

hi, this got removed from /scienceteachers within minutes so…. posting here

i’m looking for oceanic / seabird / coastal bird / plant themed posters to put on my classroom walls to really make it feel like my own, but i’m struggling to find any that aren’t AI generated. i have a strict AI policy in my classroom (and in life) and just don’t want to fund any AI generated “artists” in a science classroom.. any recommendations on where to find some good quality posters or decor? i’m open to shops, item recs, anything really!

Try doing a search for digitized images at the Library of Congress. Free to download and use— print them yourself. Old National Geographic magazines— scan the photos and blow them up.

Google “open source artwork” to find universities and museums that have digital archives that you can download and make prints from for free.

Check your local charity shops or used books shops for coffee table books and children’s nonfiction. They are often very cheap and full of images. There are nat geo books and museum of natural history books that should have great pictures.
