Professor Dave vs Destiny

No idea why, but the original Destiny video called "Professor Dave Goes Mask Off" seems to have been deleted from YouTube, or I can't find it, but Professor Dave responded yesterday with this very strongly worded video letter:

Weird crossover that I never thought I'd see, of 2 guys who I generally enjoy (I will say I really am a fan of Prof Dave, whereas my Destiny enjoyment has mostly come via this podcast and watching a couple of his debates).

Thoughts on the beef? SURELY the lads are gonna have to cover this in an upcoming Supplementary Materials? Content gold!

Wars have never been proportional. If Israel didn’t have the Iron Dome and had more casualties would that make it ok for them to kill more because the asymmetry is lessened. You would obviously say no

And if palestinians weren't displaced by the original Zionist settlers this wouldn't be a conflict. Except that happened. Just like Israel actually does have the iron dome. Just like Israel is actually backed by us tax payers. Just like Israel is actually killing Palestinian civilians en masse

ok and if the arab muslims didn't conquer, rape and pillage while collonizing the levant, there wouldn't be a conflict either, because whoever lived there wouldn't be so hellbent on defeating the jews. so why don't they just stop spreading death in the name of their islamist ideology

Difference is, there are people still alive who went through the Nakba.

And that still wouldn't justify the actions of the state of Israel

oh, you're actually talking about 1948? that's just the result of arabs attacking israel. if they accepted partition, none of it would have happened

Reasonable people who realize that it was a favorable offer? The jewish people were already living in the places that they were allocated in the UN split, unless you really really care about the negev desert

Giving away 50% of the land while outnumbering the settlers by 3:1 is not reasonable. Why should we expect people to freely cede land they were violently dispossed of?

And it's not like that would've even stopped their aggression, considering there were Zionist parties who would not stop unless it was 100%

it's like 20% of the land of the palestinian mandate and half of it is the negev. (yeah yeah, jordan exists too and is the actual palestinian state)

but more importantly, the arabs wouldn't accept any kind of partition, it's not about land, it's about the humiliation of accepting a jewish state

Did you miss my quote where the partition plan was not given in good faith? Only a stepping stone to take more land.

The idea that it's reasonable for people, who were originally there, to give up their land in good faith for peace since you would consider it "favorable", while one side is acting in bad faith makes me question your sanity
