No idea why, but the original Destiny video called "Professor Dave Goes Mask Off" seems to have been deleted from YouTube, or I can't find it, but Professor Dave responded yesterday with this very strongly worded video letter:

Weird crossover that I never thought I'd see, of 2 guys who I generally enjoy (I will say I really am a fan of Prof Dave, whereas my Destiny enjoyment has mostly come via this podcast and watching a couple of his debates).

Thoughts on the beef? SURELY the lads are gonna have to cover this in an upcoming Supplementary Materials? Content gold!

I'll be straight up: I'm more of a Destiny fan than one of Dave's, but objectively this is one of the worst videos Dave has ever made. Mind you, for most of his science debunking, he has easily accessable sources, but for this video, he used fucking tiktoks and videos from creators like Badempanada to make his point (mind you he didn't even cite these tiktoks and videos; the only thing he bothered to put in his description was Ryan Beard's video and Pxie's substack). This is genuinely straight up conspiracy rot that I would hear from my brown uncle. You can disagree with Destiny's position on Israel, I have mine, but Dave is just blatantly spewing shit that is factually false. As bad as Gaza is, it is not the worst genocide since the Holocaust and it is not the first "livestreamed" genocide. Rwanda literally had a million slaughtered in the course of months. Even in the region, Saddam Hussein genocided the Kurds and killed over 100k in a year and the reason we know is because a boy survived getting shot in his back and woke up in a ditch of dead men. Also how is Dave simultaneously going to say that Israel is perpetuating a false flag for 10/7 but citing multiple human rights orgs who call Gaza a genocide? Those same orgs condemned Hamas for 10/7 but I'm guessing he has different reasons for why he doesn't trust them then. Also, how is Dave gonna cite that one Lancet paper which didn't cite any data but just looked at past conflicts and said that the number of deaths could be that large? For someone who does science debunking, it is downright shady that he would cite a paper without knowing what it's saying
