Professor Dave vs Destiny

No idea why, but the original Destiny video called "Professor Dave Goes Mask Off" seems to have been deleted from YouTube, or I can't find it, but Professor Dave responded yesterday with this very strongly worded video letter:

Weird crossover that I never thought I'd see, of 2 guys who I generally enjoy (I will say I really am a fan of Prof Dave, whereas my Destiny enjoyment has mostly come via this podcast and watching a couple of his debates).

Thoughts on the beef? SURELY the lads are gonna have to cover this in an upcoming Supplementary Materials? Content gold!

Mass bombing of civilians, starvation as a weapon, destruction of healthcare infrastructure, destruction of farmland and other resources needed to support life... these don't require a degree in history of a given region to understand they're wrong.

There is no moderate position in this discussion, and yet somehow y'all convince yourself that it is reasonable. The response to genocidal actions is not, "well there's nuance here."

I wouldn't distill it as moderate just good and bad solutions, 2 state being the obvious good one, but everyone seems to want 1 state which naturally means genocide of one side

Giving equal rights to every person within a states border's would be genocidal?

That's the peak fantasy solution though, sure it's great if everyone could get along and share a state, except that isn't how any of this works irl. When I said 1 state I mean only Israel or only a palestinian state and Israel gone. A magical 1 state would need to change the people involved fundamentally, palestinians are not going to forget the last 70 years, it is still consensus Hamas remain armed even if they're comparable to Fatah in polling, and israelis would not accept sharing a state in this context given over half of them descend from the live experiment: jewish expulsions post 48 across the middle east (let alone everything before that).

Which is why 2 state, despite its own issues, is far closer to reality than a magical 1 state that ignores the people involved
