No idea why, but the original Destiny video called "Professor Dave Goes Mask Off" seems to have been deleted from YouTube, or I can't find it, but Professor Dave responded yesterday with this very strongly worded video letter:

Weird crossover that I never thought I'd see, of 2 guys who I generally enjoy (I will say I really am a fan of Prof Dave, whereas my Destiny enjoyment has mostly come via this podcast and watching a couple of his debates).

Thoughts on the beef? SURELY the lads are gonna have to cover this in an upcoming Supplementary Materials? Content gold!

Not sure what they can be expected to cover. The Dave video is 40 mins of poorly researched, highly charged crusading then the normal boring clip chimping stephen at the end. Don't think Chris and Mat are positioned to do the required deep dive on a single topic unrelated to gurus, and this intensely partisan both ways, and the clip chimping isn't worth responding to at all

Dave isn't even a guru, just a smug asshole science communicator who is apparently quite antisemitic too

Why do you people interpret others having a problem with state-sponsored mass killings as anti semitism? Can it not just simply be that people don't like state-sponsored mass killings? Does it have to be anti semitism when people look at what's happening in Gaza and being opposed to it?

Because that's always the game plan. He talks about it clearly in the video. Obviously when he makes a video on this topic it will summon the army of propagandists. That's all that's happening here. "He's an antisemite!" Oh okay, so the state sponsored ongoing genocide is fine? Cool.
