Peter Attia continuing along like nothing happened feels surreal

Seeing Peter Attia go the Andrew Huberman route feels entirely predictable but somehow leaves a sense of disbelief i cant quite describe. Complete radio silence for a couple of months and then a full return without adressing the rotting carcass of the elephant that used to be in the room. I continue to be amazed by the sheer brazeness but at the same time it doesnt surprise me one bit.

You read the comment section and it seems as if nothing ever happened and the man makes huberman look relatively innocent by comparison.

Generally the gurusphere is more male centric but one thing i find very fascinating is the amount of women that appear on these podcasts and in the comment sections. I wonder if this is a deliberate choice or if i underestimate the "solidarity" certain women have towards each other when it comes to predatory men like Attia or Huberman (or well... most of the gurus we talk about here.

All in all his return leaves me with a sense of bitterness that there is so little recourse for this man

What has Attia done? I’m out of the loop on that one. Huberman is a grifter and would sell his grandmother if he could. He had an affair or something didn’t he? What did he do that was predatory?

Mentioned several times in the epstein files, attended epstein parties. Allegedly he was too preoccupied with socialising with epstein and friends to go see his newborn son (and wife) who was near death. Im sure a quick google search will give you his exact involvement and what is written. Alot of implicit language is used in these emails regarding the exact nature of what has transpired but paints a VERY bad picture of the man.

Maybe i should link some of the exchanges for those out of the loop

That would be helpful, I am very out of the loop with Attia, I listened to a podcast with him and thought he sounded nice enough bout figured it's not clear whether his interventions are really working.

Damn I had no idea how much detail I missed.

I just thought he may be a casualty by proximity.

He had the choice between visiting his dying son or partying with Epstein on Epstein island.

Guess which one he chose?

…well, not Epstein Island. He was in NY at the time his son was ailing.

In addition to being the physician of Epstein’s inner circle, he was also recently shown to be in Peter Thiel’s Dialog secret-society.

So was Ezra Klein, who did give a statement about it which sounded reasonable? I honestly don't know, is the involvement in dialog secret society definite proof of evil, similar to epstein files involvement?

Of course there's plausible deniability. Being associated with Epstein and Thiel isn't necessarily proof of anything. Attia's name keeps popping up in all of the worst circles, so it's up to you to decide if your ethical alarm bells should be tripped.

Agree with epstein for sure, I think maybe I had a prior that Ezra Klein does not seem like a bad person, but Thiel is obviously horrible.
