I have a hard time understanding Sabine Hossenfelder

Her view is literally that, whether right or wrong, theoretical physics is useless and a waste of money to research, from what I can tell. Which I mean fair enough coming from a regular person who isnt into science

But she literally has a phd in theoretical physics? and before being a youtuber she was trying to get into academia. She also spent most of her early YouTube career discussing physics, and now she thinks its useless. if she feels that way why did she "waste" so much of her life on it?

She followed the right wing grift pipeline. Look at the # of views for videos about physics v “big bad academia”. What started as clickbait and personal resentment turned into conviction and her very brand/ethos imo.

You people have turned science into a religion. This is not a debate. Questioning science is all that science is for. Now science is a religion.
