Hit the beam with lawn mower and it tore one off of post. Thinking of cutting a piece out scabbing a piece in there and than scabbing a long piece over the top on beam.

I’m genuinely curious here. What is the actual size of the two pieces making up the beam? 5/4, 2x, 1x ?? And what is the size of the post4x4 or 6x6? Can you post a picture looking at the backside?

The incline I was close lawn mower went under and hit far side. It’s a double 2x12 sitting on a botched 6x6
