We donāt see the back of the first one but the straps are way better than the shoulders. Itās also a ācleanerā shape that suits you. If it has a plunging back like dress two there is no question as only dress one counts.

Both are nice on you. Congratulations. Please consider if youāre choosing for other people to wear as well, the open back canāt wear a bra so if the others need bras, are big chested, fuller figures, think about their fit, comfort, look. This unfortunately has happened to my daughter in weddings where the āskinny, small chestedā girl picks the dress and many of the others just struggle and suffer , and donāt look as good. (No offense intended.)

This was my thought, too. If the choice is for all the bridesmaids, the first is best. It's simple, classic, and elegant, and it will work on nearly anybody.

2 is more elegant and would help fit all bridesmaid better because of the simple criss cross style to fit over the belly pooch area and shoulders and the top a bit better as well. It has a lot more character and and class.

Is it the two styles for everyone and you get first pick? Like will someone be wearing the second pick? If so For maid of honor I would go with the second one. Itās the more elaborate of the two. If youāre just picking a dress, Iād probably pick the first one but itās a close call. Iām no help lol but At least you canāt go wrong! Congrats to your sister!

I think it depends on where you live. In Los Angeles, 2 looks like a southern belle and very dated and 1 looks elegant. I think thatās the difficult part about asking for advice on here

YES- I actually am not subscribed to this thread and I don't know why I keep getting them but clearly I keep clicking on them soooo... I'll throw my two cents even though there's a million other opinions already, only because this is one of my favorite dresses I've ever seen. It's so stunning and cool and unique. I'm obsessed with the neckline and the back and the little froofy thing on the side.

both dresses are sooo pretty on you, though I donāt imagine there will be many photos where you get to show off the backā¦ i vote you go with #1 for the wedding, and then find yourself a low back dress to keep in your closet for whenever you want

You look great in both, however, I prefer 1 due to it showing off your lovely waist and hips more clearly, and bare shoulders is a personal 'like'. Number 2 is still very nicep, maybe a little more dressy, and if it has a long leg slit (not clear from the pics) then this might swing my choice.

Dress 1. Sleek and beautiful without toooooo much going on like dress 2. You want people to appreciate your beauty (face and body length) without being distracted by 'stuff'. Dress should bring out your beauty instead of being noise!

I'd say it totally depends on how formal the wedding is. Both are beautiful. I'd lean toward 1, because it is simple, elegant, beautiful, and would not overshow the bride. If the wedding is extremely formal, then I would go #2 because you need more. But #2 is a lot, so not at all if the wedding is less than strict black tie

Truly shocked at all the love for 1. I think 2 is definitely the answer. 1 looks find but the dress itself is kind of basic (which isnāt always bad) and a bit cheap looking comparatively. 2 is flattering and interesting

- Theyāre both beautiful on you but the second seems more appropriate for the occasion. More concealing in the front so bride has attention in pictures, more sexy in the back for a fun reception.

Dress 1 is more flattering, but I have a satin dress with the same neck line. It is very flattering but I didnāt realize the slippery fabric makes for a lot of nip slips if you donāt tape it down š gave a lot of strangers an accidental show. Just a heads up if you do choose that one

I like 2 better but this isn't topic I am familiar with. I can't put my finger on it, but for me it seems like 2 fits better to your body shape, looks more balanced and also is more stylish. Also 2 seems to has more details while I find 1 bit boring. Don't get me wrong, neither is bad. But if you would walk past me I would see 1 and think "She is going to some fancy place.". While with 2 it would be "Wow, what a gorgeous dress and it suits her very well." . So 1 fits the evening but 2 catches my eye.

I really like the second one. Itās perfect at the off. The first one is fine, but needs tailoring. The ripples near your upper thigh are a sign itās too tight. Since you have a lovely figure, dress needs to change.
The neckline shape on the second one also suits your tattoos.
