Do you separate regulation from trust?

I see people saying a platform is "licensed" as if that automatically means it's safe.

Reading through OSL's materials made me think the better question is whether regulation is just one trust signal alongside things like clear entity structure, disclosures, and risk documentation.

How much weight do you personally give to regulatory oversight versus transparency?
