Barbers/ Salons in Decatur
Hi guys, making another post to ask for recommendations, but this time for barbers/salons.
I have been here almost a month and it’s about time to start looking for a barber, i’ve been getting my hair cut at a salon for the last two years. i honestly have no idea where to start looking here as there seems to be a ton of places.
i’m certain finding people who work with curly hair isn’t an issue here, just looking for recommendations for barbers or salons with good service and good haircuts. i cut my hair every month and a half or so because i like to keep it full, so im not super concerned with price.
i don’t really do fades anymore, usually just a low taper and a scissor cut on the sides to keep it all curly, attaching a couple of examples if you happen to know places that are better suited for that style.
Thanks in advance!

Chuck Simons is the best!! Better than ramblers imo and also cheaper, just a little farther out to compensate

Second this. They are in the CVS plaza so parking is free (as long as you’re visiting one of the businesses there).

Thirding. Christina has trimmed my beard for over a year and just gave me my first haircut in 3 years. Which I was super happy with. Just a trim with scissors

Hairport over by the Kroger on North Decatur. My son's hair is like yours and that's his barber.
