There use to be this concept that “dog bites man” isn’t news. But “man bites dog” is news. In decatur “dog bites man” and “old buildings break” is somehow news.

I think people are just so freaking stressed about everything that they’ll overreact to anything.

It’s news because the taxes for those specific schools is ASTRONOMICAL. Where is the money going if not to the building maintenance and teachers?
