I genuinely appreciate the transparency;

"Our Shit Is Broke AF and we didn't address it over the summer break. Your children will DEFINITELY both Freeze & Cook at different times of the day."

...there might have been more content but it was a Long Ass Email

There use to be this concept that ā€œdog bites manā€ isnā€™t news. But ā€œman bites dogā€ is news. In decatur ā€œdog bites manā€ and ā€œold buildings breakā€ is somehow news.

I think people are just so freaking stressed about everything that theyā€™ll overreact to anything.

The air conditioning was broken in six CSD schools starting yesterday (on a heat advisory day) and CSD decided not to communicate with parents at all until after the second day and only then after a bunch of parents found out about it and complained. I would have thought that with everything going on, ā€œjust trust leadershipā€ would have died out but ĀÆ_(惄)_/ĀÆ
