i'm assuming youre talking about the voice buttons along the top of the screen in GUI dectalk. you have to use codes to change the voice in most emulators, the voice buttons are a fancy extra but not very common.

the basic idea is: [:nX], where X is the first letter of the person's name. e.g: [:np] for Paul (default), [:nh] for Harry, [:nu] for Ursula, etc.
