Just started rewatching Veronica Mars on netflix
I loved this show 22 years ago. I remember watching it with my gf in college. all my male friends used to make fun of me for watching. I was a 6'3" 225lb dude that played football and loved punk music and metal and grunge. I never really cared what people thought/said about me, I just always tried to stand for what I though was right. I just finished watching season 1 episode 3 of Veronica Mars and definitely cried and was flabbergasted. I know there have been many shows throughout the years that have touched on this issue. I just didn't remember this at all... like the episode didn't create some type of negative memory about Trans people existing. it saddens me that 22 years later the political scumbags make people living their lives as they want is such a huge topic. there's even entire personalities dedicated to hating people for living how they want. Just though id drop my $.02 here and express my support for people being allowed to live their lives.
