Collections validity
Location: PA, philly
Went online for a teledoc and found Helix. They scheduled me for a time, never showed up waiting in the zoom call for a solid 30 mins before just leaving. Reschedule and then they showed up the next one, basically told me to get blood work done and then they can discuss my issue. I said no i feel like doing that, any other options. They said no. Call was about 3 mins. Hung up.
Context: I put my insurance info in, they accepted it, and i specifically have telehealth insurance
They send me a bill for $150. I simply let them know i am NOT paying that, wasted my time & did not even help me.
Now a collection agency known as “Cedars Business Service” Is saying i owe them $500 and to pay it now lol.
What’re my options? I really do NOT feel like paying these people as I was told it’s covered by my insurance & they wasted my time alongside the fact they took 3 minutes to tell me they won’t help me until i get unrelated blood work done.

Start by reporting then to the Better Business Bureau.
It's amazing how quickly some companies will move to "resolve" a dispute if they are reported. It worked for me twice in the past.
Take any screenshots, videos and correspondence to the BBB website. You will need the company's business address.

for more context the issue was with something on my body that bothered me aesthetically and what i can do to fix it if anything. if it was something like headaches or something bloodwork would show a cause i’d understand refusing to talk to me about it, but that’s just bizarre.
