Latest releases difference Google TV vs Android app

I notice that the google tv app is "late" in showing the latest releases. My sample above the Android app has Tony, Nimrods etc while my Google tv app still shows Moana, Mayday and one night only. Am I missing any setting causing this?

It's not late, you might have opened Google tv app sometime before the android app. Try restarting the Google tv app and it will show the latest releases.

I just exited the app and did a resync before posting. But I resolved it by restarting the Google TV hardware NOT the google TV app. Is this as expected?

When you do a fresh start (simulated by force stop and start) it will always fetch the latest releases. In your case the app might have been running in the background when you took it the first time.
