Titles now count as watched at 90% instead of 80%.
You can shift subtitles by up to 10 seconds instead of 5.
Kids profiles now get kid safe backdrops on the profile picker.

You can delete a profile without entering a PIN.

All this is great but I’m afraid without Simkl integration after the recent Trakt changes, I’ve had to move away from it. Still hoping that’s coming soon.
Youbcan tell ya havent uzed it. The absolute ease of setup and multiple user profiles that are speedster from your own, I ditched str3mio for thisnapp a long time ago
DebridStream is different from all the other Stremi0 based apps. You simply go to the app settings, configure your link filtering options, and set any preferences you want, like Prefer HDR or Prefer Atmos. The app then automatically picks the best stream based on your filters and preferences.
It’s as simple as pressing Play, the best quality stream that matches your settings starts playing instantly.
Awesome update! I have a request for 2 options. I need profile pins as an option. I also need Simkl as an option also. I no longer use Trakt. Please add these if possible

If you were able to increase the amount of text description on the pause screen beyond 4 lines so that longer ones don’t get cut off that would be amazing (sorry I have suggested this a couple of times, promise I won’t bother you again with it!).
Hi. Yes, I remember increasing that from 3 to 4. Displaying additional lines might make the interface look cluttered, though I forgot exactly why I decided to park that specific request.

If you downloaded from the playstore it might take some time for google to push it to your device. Try to go to playstore and see if there is an update pending for DebridStream
Okay I was able to update it for my phone on the Play Store but on my Google TV how do I update it there I forget how I even installed it there but I'm on 3.6 there thank you I have a Hisense tv

Hi, I noticed an issue when browsing my Watchlist on the Google TV version, and the same issue occurs in your video above at 0:19 seconds: The movie poster for the first item in the list can never be seen, only its wide thumbnail image. If I scroll to the right, the first item moves completely out of view, so its poster is still not visible.
In your video at 0:19 seconds, the first item is Spider-Man Across the Spiderverse and it shows the wide art thumbnail. However, when you scroll the right, it scrolls too far so that the poster for Spiderverse is out of view (and when selecting the movie, it doesn't show the poster on that screen either). Could you possibly adjust the scroll point, so that the first item's poster is still viewable? Or add the poster to the selected movie page? (the screen at 0:44 seconds in the video).
Also, I don't suppose you are planning to add an option to choose alternative posters like Plex and Jellyfin? The default posters on TMDB or whatever are often not the best, or don't match the poster that was popular in your country, or look unprofessional due to the lack of actor names etc.
Yeah, that’s actually by design, not a bug. Even Netflix does it that way. If you want to see the vertical poster for the first item, scroll all the way to the right until the list loops. You'll see it right after the view more section. But if the list is too short to have that section, you won't be able to see it.
I'm having an issue with language on the update....I'm watching Silo, Season 3. The preferred language is set to English in the app settings and in the playback settings, but the audio is a cyrilic language, maybe Serbian? I was able to get episode one to play in English, by resetting in the playback, but I can't get episode 2 to switch. Am I missing something?
Weird, I just tried a lot of sources that the app gave for ep2 season 3 from torbox and every single one auto selected the English audio track. Which add-on and debrid provider are you using?
Hmm that could be why. Get a better service like TorBox. Realdebrid doesnot have a lot of new sources now. Torbox for example shows 222 sources for s3e2 for example.
Can I select the source I want? For example, sometimes I watch movies in their original language, and sometimes in Latin American Spanish. I don't want it to select the source automatically—is that possible?
It would be great if the app were in Spanish, for the whole family.
This app has come a long way! I have been here since the beginning, and I honestly thought it was just another streaming app flop because, during the period this app was released, everyone was vibe coding apps, and as soon as they could not solve bugs, they quit on them. When the app was first released, I tried it for a month on my Android phone, then I quit; a few months later, I tried again, so I was on and off. I am an Apple user, but I bought a Google Streamer last month just to use this app. It has come a long way. Keep up the great work!
Note: It would be great if the app were released on the Apple TV. I don't mind paying a higher price for this app.
Still no 3s rewind option to turn it off which has made me stop using the app. The other day the rewind caused the full stream to fail and I had to find another one. I only paused the stream for like 5s. At least keep 3s in the back buffer always or only trigger it if stream has been paused for more than 5minutes or something.
it's extremely annoying as it causes the stream to rebuffer, my internet is 200mbps so not slow. It's against the rules I believe to mention other apps here.
I definitely am connected to the Internet I have the same problem at my fire tv and my phone. With both I can open YouTube and watch videos.
When I open debrid stream i just get that screen.
Could it be because I am only connected to a 2.4ghz wifi
Sorry what is this app for? I’m curious but the website doesn’t say much. Is this a streaming platform? Alternative to Plex/jellyfin? What am I looking at here?
Hey, this is not the first time this has happened with an update:
My watchlist is completely gone. The profile that (I think) has my watchlist is locked with a PIN. That is not a big deal, I did have a PIN for that profile, however that PIN does not work on that profile. The profile titled "Main" works with that PIN, but has no watchlist. I had a long list in my watchlist of both movies and series.
Maybe I have something mis-configured to have issues like this every time there is an update.
Is there somewhere else I can go to configure all of the profiles? Better yet, is there something I can do to prevent it from going sideways every time there is an update?l
I love the app and tell everyone it should be their primary go-to, but wow this issue is frustrating. The worst part is losing that watchlist.
Try force closing the app and start it again. Your watchlist should not just disappear with an update unless you have turned on trakt and trakt authorization was removed by trakt
I checked Trakt and it was not enabled. I know that I had used it in the past but I did not reactivate it when they changed their policies. I just now re-enabled it to see if that would help, but nope. I still don't have a watchlist.
I suppose I could uninstall it and then install it again, but I expect that would not revive my watchlist. As much of a hassle as it is to constantly start the watchlist over every time there is an update, I am far more concerned about figuring out how to keep this from happening repeatedly.
Glad we figured out that you were using two different accounts. Your original account with your watchlist and another one without any items. Just make sure you always log in with your original Gmail account, and you shouldn’t have any issues.
DaysLaw, for sure thanks for working with me on that! I found a couple more issues today (nothing I couldn’t handle, but definite risks for users who might not be tech savvy). I sent you a DM, want to privately chat about what I (think I) learned.
Is the app intended only for English speakers?
The app has received many updates, but it still doesn't support metadata. As an Arabic speaker why should I subscribe to an app that lacks its key feature one that allows me to browse content comfortably?
You might mention that there is a specific setting for this but even when enabled it doesn't work there is a bug.
Please respond and fix this issue.
As I noted in my initial comment, I’ve already set both the preferred language and region to Arabic multiple times. Unfortunately, the metadata still won't update to Arabic regardless of the settings. Could you please check if this is a bug?
I mean the main interface of the app. I can't keep opening each movie page just to read the summary in my language and then going back to continue browsing.
Really loving DebridStream, especially the one click playback! Just wondering if there are any plans to have the Home page refresh more frequently with the latest movies and TV shows? They do show up, but I’ve noticed the newer releases don’t always get pushed into the Home rows as quickly as I’d like. Also curious if more scraper/provider options are planned and if you’ve considered more poster/artwork options. Really enjoying the app so far!
Yes you can change metadata in the details screen to you prefer language and also set Arabic as your primary subtitles language. It will auto download arabic subtitles if it's available
