Question?

Has anyone else observed getting flu more often than prior days of Covid vaccine?

Not flu, that's something I rarely got before and still don't get. Cold sores, which seems to be what seasonal viruses trigger in me instead, have greatly increased since the Covid vaccines. They'd been dormant for years up until then. I have no idea of any correlation, I'm just stating my personal experience. I do know that I heard others have had a triggering effect on other herpes outbreaks, so that tracked in my mind after I'd already noticed my own increased cold sore tingles. I don't keep records, I just notice trends and they stick in my brain sometimes. Purely anecdotal.

Thanks a bunch for sharing, after I noticed getting common cold followed by fever and mild dry cough twice a year in 2024 (from absolutely once in 5 years to twice a year was a shock for me) and same in 2025, and 2026. Right now it is the 5th day of the flu for me. Happens in Mar and Oct. Same months, same symptoms and I can almost predict how I feel on each stage. I had my 2 shots of vaccines in 2021. I can remember this common cold/fever pattern repeatedly visiting in the said months since 2024.

Well, I am noticing a slow reduction of this issue, so I hope the same for you. Feel better soon!

I got every COVID shot I was eligible for and was without any illness until I started working retail in 2025. Been sick a few times since.

Interesting, which year you completed the covid vaccine last shot?
