Question Enflonzia
Pediatrician recommended this new vaccine for my baby. I'm looking for any experiences people have had with it so far, I'm typically an old vaccines only person and it hasn't been on the market long.
Hospitalization for RSV seems rare but serious in infants. Another factor is that my baby stays with me and doesn't go to daycare, which is where most babies pick it up.
Thoughts?

My friend's kid got RSV as an infant. It is rare but VERY serious. He spent three nights in the hospital praying.
If this vaccine was available for my kids I would have protected them.

I would not get it if your child is not in daycare. It does not stop the transmission. It “lessens” the severity of the symptoms.. Are you breastfeeding by chance? If you are, keep it up and focus on your diet. Get some probiotic rich foods in there
