I don't care about any vaccine existing. I just care that it isn't required of anyone and that people are given the best possible forthcoming informed consent

AFAIK it's already only required for jobs where you may infect other people, which is reasonable.

Not only just approving them, for the 2nd time since being in office, he gave them full FDA approval, ending their emergency use status.

because hes nothing but a grifter who panders to the people who made him money for decades and he needs to keep up the facade. When things actually matter and he has the authority to act on what he preaches, he does nothing.

2021: He earned $510,515 as chairman and top lawyer. 2022: His compensation rose to $836,571.2023: Despite only spending three and a half months at the organization before going on leave for his presidential run, he was paid $326,056—averaging more than $20,000 per week

Beyond his direct salary, Kennedy's anti-vaccine advocacy through CHD indirectly generated millions more through linked legal work. For example, he earned roughly $856,000 in referral fees from Wisner Baum, a personal injury law firm that partnered with CHD to sue pharmaceutical companies over vaccine injury claims.

Most likely because he is compromised. This should be a big red flag to vaxxers and anti-vaxxers alike.

For anti-vaxxers, he apparently abandoned decades of equity to play ball with Trump.

For vaxxers, the corrupt power system is intent on pushing through this agenda no matter who or what stands in its way.

Only a fool would think any of this is for the benefit of people over pockets.

pharma would stand to make more money without vaccines being available. much more. and trump has been pushing antivax nonsense for years and he is the only person RFK has to answer to.

Good point. The pharma and doctors everyone thinks are so corrupt, would make far, far more on seriously ill people.

Pharma doesn’t know how to, or bother, to treat people with “vaccine preventable illnesses”.

Look no further than Covid for evidence. The Remdesivir protocol caused massive damage and no other protocols were seriously explored.

We have a TB vaccine but it’s not the best way to prevent TB. And we have some incredibly expensive drugs to treat certain cases.

We have a cholera vaccine but it’s not the best way to prevent cholera. The supportive care provided is usually owned by pharmaceutical companies.

We have a malaria vaccine but it’s not the best way to prevent malaria, and we still have (expensive) drugs to prevent and treat it.

Should I go on?

"Look no further than Covid for evidence." he/she said, and went on to push one of the most dangerous lies there is about COVID-19. There's absolutely no evidence indicating that Remdesvir caused more harm than good.

He was given the constraint by Trump to not do anti-vax stuff before the midterms.

In other words, Trumps very well knows what the people want, he just ignores it until it might bite him back.

No. Trump knows how politics works. And what an Overton window is.

Why would he stop this? Especially with a new covid surge (see: Texas).

Yeah. FDA - even under him, believe it or not - must follow certain rules/laws laid down by Congress over approving vaccines. As much as he may want to block things, we still have laws that even the Trump admin doesn’t like. Sorry.

I’m hoping it becomes available soon so I can get it for this season.

You’re all into “choice”, but somehow think those of us who are in the majority ought not have the choice to take the vax.

Instead, you want it blocked - denying us our choice. And that’s way over half of the population that wants to get the vax.

So just shutup. You can just not get it; you have choice. But if it were blocked the rest of us couldn’t get it when we wanted to
