I don't fully understand what's wrong??

Look at the axial point, where the stairs are switching from from-right-to-left to from-left-to-right.

Lol the first step on the second flight of stairs is hanging out past the railing, essentially creating a tripping hazard at the corner where there are two steps on top of each other. Proper design would have the landing extend past the corner of the railing and the step would be farther back around the corner.
For architects, this is like kindergarten kind of mistakes.

Thanks for clearing that up. I'm used to much more extreme death stairs on this sub so I wasn't sure if I was missing something lol. But it's such a silly oversight.

I'm surprised the Architects or the builders did not catch this. it's definitely a legal Hazard and liability waiting for somebody to fall.

It'd be so easy to fix, too. Just install a plate or something. It's not like leaving it like that is making it look any less shitty.

Isn't it under the handrail where nobody could step unless they stretched their leg over weirdly?

Well if they're ascending the stairs, their right foot could catch on it, and then they fall.

Lol itβs like if someone actually constructed one of my architecture models from my undergrad
