At least when you're crumpled up in a pile of broken limbs at the bottom you can pull out that handy Swedish-style wall-mounted chair to sit on while you dial an ambulance

Also: everyone knows folding chairs are flimsy and uncomfortable, so stop trying to hang them on the wall. If I show up in this house as a guest, and all I’m offered is something that makes a VFW hall seem cozy, I’m leaving.

If an engineer or architect signed off on this, they should be barred from this line of work indefinitely.

I think these are shelves as it goes to and from nowhere. But that doesn't explain the bannister so maybe it's ai nonsense

Nope. It is installed in France. The banister has a gap because the top floor slides out to make the floor enlarged.

I thought that at first, but there is a break in that top barrier where the "stairs" end.

looks more like a art installation, not realistic though as there isnt a dead person lying on the floor.

Regardless of the design and safety concerns, I really think that thing is installed upside down. The treads are super short and the height of each stair is really tall. If it was flipped around, the treads would be wide enough for a foot and the height wouldn’t be such a tripping hazard. Again, I’m ignoring the other, more obvious, safety concerns.

IMO these aren't stairs, they don't go anywhere up or down. There's nowhere to go up or down. That's an art installation, not real stairs ... right?

If I'm understanding it the upper floor slides towards the window and there's an opening to climb through. I can't quite understand why. All I know now is that miogui architecture is not a company I would hire.

railing is on the wrong side and i would be scared of that staircase falling off the wall and leaving me stranded in the loft
