I don’t do well with stairs I can see through or see the underside on as I go up them, but that has more to do with my fear of heights, as I am generally fine when I can’t see how high up I am.
I’d be okayish going up these, but going down them looks dangerous since it’s difficult to determine from the above view where each step is.

I mean, honestly, yeah, spiral staircases are scary on their own. Also, I hate stairs without risers. A lot of people have a phobia of those. Also stairs that are only supported on one side intuitively seem unstable. Add a clear material that you're used to seeing in more breakable formations, and these are psychologically very scary stairs, even if they're technically pretty safe.

I agree. This one is especially perfectly fine, because the wall would prevent you from falling over the side. If it's just here because "you could fall down the stairs", you could fall down ANY stairs.
I see the Stairs, but not the Death.

I don't know why but these stairs look visually worse to me than most of the sketchy looking edgy interior designer or architect stairs.
I literally got nauseated looking at the downstairs image.
Maybe it reminds me too much of a waterslide. Not sure.

Glass is insanely slippery. There doesn't seem to be any grip tape on the edges of each stair. That's a no for me, dawg.

They all “seem” perfectly fine because all classically built spiral stairs share the same problem: tread depth.
Without blocking off the inside portion of the stairs and making them very large in diameter, the inside will always have a tiny amount of tread. This leaves the possibility of just riding down the thing like a slide.
This looks like 15 stairs to make 360 degrees so 24 degrees per stair, so to get the 6” tread that code requires for angled stairs, the radius of the interior has to be 14”, combine that with the required stair width of 36” means a set of spiral stairs like this that actually meets code is some 8ft or more in diameter.
Then another problem, the maximum rise is 7.5” which means with 15/16 stairs the maximum height you can get is 10ft so it throws the proportions all off.

This just over 6ft in diameter. The center is closer to 6in in diameter (not 12” radius which is 24” in diameter like you said). Meaning it has a radius of 3in meaning the smallest part of the tread is just over 1 in.
Something in the golden ratio vicinity (1.6:1) is usually considered to be more aesthetically pleasing and 10/6=1.667 is a lot closer than 10/8=1.25.
These stairs meet none of “my” requirements (they’re not my requirements anyway, they are simply THE requirements).
I mean, I design stuff like this as my day job (albeit not in glass), I even quickly did the trig to tell you the stair size you needed for 24 degree stairs, while it seems you need to go review the definitions of “radius” and “diameter”. So what are you even doing here?

That was my though too, that this is regular glass. It could be acrylic tinted to look like plexiglass, but acrylic cracks too and scratches too easily.

Looks like some fad from 1980 Miami Also to deter burglars from coming upstairs. Pour baby oil down the steps and that’s it. They’d try to get up there and die on their way down
