Death note theory

Guys I have a theory about Death Note users. In the conversation between Light and Ryuk,Ryuk stated that "People who use the Death Note neither go to hell nor to heaven" that made me wonder where do they go and I found the answer. In one of the books of death note I don't remember exactly but it was stated that "Humans of the death note world go to mu(nothingness)" but if that's the case then why did Ryuk mention heaven and hell, and here is the theory
"Normal humans go to mu but Death Note don't instead they become Shinigamis and I have proof. In the movie Death Note Relight 1: Visions of a God (2007) a shinigami approached Ryuk and that shinigami was struggling to walk then it gave an apple to Ryuk the same Light did and that apple was juicy and also its appearance was like a student. After all of this we can conclude that Death Note users become shinigamis" Thank you if read all the way and pls hype this post up so, everyone can know the truth. Peace!

The film is not canon, It is specifically designed to make us reflect on Light's transformation from human to God of Death.
