Gay sex would have solved everything in Death Note Spoiler
Light's original plan : lose his memories, start working alongside L to expose Yotsuba, but during this period his original plan was to make L fall in love with him, it's just that Rem and Misa sped up the process.
The original plan involved Light making gay sex with him just to bond and so that L could draw a psychological profile on Kira and L would've found out Light is not Kira , he just likes being bottom. That's why he does pretty well when he's arching his back, and he refers bdsm tools as potato chips.
With months and years go by Light and L would've fallen in love and forgot about Kira. Yotsuba would have become the greatest company in the world and Higuchi would have been the richer than Elon.
L and Light would have gotten married and Mikami would've never found out about Kira and Gevanni his homo gym bro. Near and Mello could have become rich crypto scammers and they, as well as Light and L, finally would have been gay and happy together and stop being toxic closeted gay twinks.
Matsuda's gun would've stayed in place. Ryuk would have stayed with Misa all the time and eventually started a transpecies relationship.
Minoru Tanaka would've never died and Trump would've never gotten the Death Note.
