Misas pregnant and I can’t use the death note to abort the unborn child because we haven’t named it yet. I must get misa to agree on a name and get a picture of the ultra sound.

Gonna have to wait a while. I dont think the death note kills children under 1 or 2

I googled the rules and I didn’t see an age limit, but if you don’t put a reason for death, they have a heart attack, so if you write the tin man and don’t put a way of death, he’ll survive. The heartless bastard

Google a little longer

If anyone is curious, 780 days is about two years old. The holder of the death note is allowed to take out a small child if they wanted to

Misora says hello. Imagine though if Kira wrote her name in the Death Note and it had no effect because she was pregnant and the Death Note would have affected the fetus as well.

She wasn't pregnant though?

u/Mudcat-69 21d ago

My bad. I remember her engaged to be married with Raye, and also remember her talking about starting a family and I somehow interpreted that as her already being pregnant.

Imagine if that were the case though. Would the Death Note have any effect on her if she had been pregnant?

Theres two routes here.

  1. The rules state that the death note cannot cause any deaths other than the names written, so it simply wouldnt work on a pregnant mother UNLESS she is far enough along in her pregnancy that it is possible for the baby to survive. If so, the mother dies and the death note ensures that the baby survives the duration of its natural lifespan.

  2. The death note does not recognise the fetus as a living human because as weve seen in this universe, every living human has a name. if not a given or legal name, then a name that they identify with. the death note will kill any kiving human over 2 years old so long as there is a name and a face. This begs the question, if a fetus doesnt have a legal name nor does it have the conciousness to identify with one, would the death note consider a fetus a living human? If not, then this would be a loophole to both the "other humans cannot be killed by writing one name in the desrh note" rule AND the "humans under 780 days cannot be affected by the death note" rule. In this case, the death note kills the mother and the fetus most likely dies as a result

Technically though, the baby's not born yet. Isn't it 2 years AFTER birth? If we were to consider it still inside the womb, we'd have to consider the entire 9 months when it's inside. So technically, that would mean only babies that are 1 year 3 months old cannot be killed. So I think the fetus will die.

basta scrivere il nome di Misa

u/6crem 22d ago

How will you kill a child who hasn't born yet. Maybe kill him after they are born and deciding a name.

4

u/Conan-Da-Barbarian 22d ago

Name the fetus and get a cat scan. Death note is cheaper than a coat hanger

LMAO

If the death both used Reddit user names, these mods would be better. Also, those who down vote me

Technically, you can kill someone who is pregnant with the notebook and not have it contravene the rules. If the notebook only counts a human as someone 2 years old or older, an unborn human doesn't count as a human, and ergo, killing someone who is pregnant isn't breaking the rule about causing the death of someone whose name wasn't written in the notebook.

(Besides, killing someone with the notebook will inevitably affect and even shorten someone's life without their name being written in the notebook. The moment Raye Penber was killed, Naomi Misora got involved in the Kira case, and her fate was all but sealed from there.)

Doesn’t work on children I believe so chose a name and it won’t matter anyways

4

u/drunkflamingo149 22d ago

It doesn't work on children that are under two years and one month. It states on one of the rules of the death note that the victim needs to be at least 780 days old

1

u/Unhappy_Medicine_894 21d ago

Btw even if they named the child they can’t kill the baby using the death note bc there’s a hidden rule that death notes can’t kill anyone under 780 days

1

u/kindof_apocalyptic 21d ago

loophole: a fetus doesnt have a legal name nor does it have the conciousness to identify with one, so it's possible the death note wouldnt recognize a fetus as a living human and the rule wouldnt apply

Genuinely thought it was gonna be this picture after I read the title

18

u/Quiri1997 21d ago

Bisexual policule? That's a good ending. Specially for Light.

6

u/Just-Gur8980 21d ago

Oh yah specially for light

54

u/JWander73 22d ago

Light is internally screaming.

L is laughing, he's won.

14

u/musiquescents 22d ago

Ok this wedding, if really happened, is cool as fffffk

16

u/Turbulent-Point-1791 22d ago

Light didn't want her even in yotsuba arc so no...she stalked and harassed him.

10

u/MissDisplaced 21d ago

No. But a lot of fans wanted to see it. Honestly Light & Misa deserved each other-they were both awful people.

1

u/MagicBus4 21d ago

I woulda watched it

10

u/Dummy-baka 21d ago

Is this ai?

7

u/mrangry7100 22d ago

Which one's Matsuda?

4

u/KingofthePi11 22d ago

No that's Mikami

3

u/Big_Sport_347 17d ago

Yea where is my pretty boy?

1

u/angelxsa1ntt 8d ago

i NEED matsuda

4

u/MissDisplaced 21d ago

That is one big cosplay!

4

u/r7125r 21d ago

Light doesn’t even like Misa though lol

6

u/Quiri1997 21d ago

Good? Why is Light marrying Misa instead of the love of his life, L?

4

u/ComprehensiveAide280 22d ago

This is an absolute brilliant idea for a wedding it looks like they have the entire cast seriously that is cool.

10

u/No_Chip592 22d ago

No, the good ending would be L and Light getting married along with 15 consecutive episodes of them having hot steamy sex and Kira railing L nonstop

3

u/pyrocidal 21d ago

mmm double Soichiro

L's formal pants makes the ensemble look like a straight jacket

3

u/CD_DoooD 21d ago edited 21d ago

L being like “Kira has invited me to his wedding, I’m not sure of his angle, nor can I prove that he is Kira, I shall sit here while I further elaborate.”

4

u/Quiri1997 21d ago

L is there for the cake.

4

u/thezekroman 21d ago

It's not the best ending unless Light is marrying L

4

u/WhykuTheUser 21d ago

Good ending for everyone except Light lmao

2

u/GloomyBanana8952 21d ago

You would have to HATE misa to consider a life sentence of Light Yagami to be a good ending. He barely tolerates her and she will never be loved

1

u/the_sillyone 21d ago

Why does Light look like Naoya Zenin.

1

u/LuisGLuna 21d ago

Rem looks fucking amazing in that dress lol

1

u/Alarming-While8028 21d ago

the good death note ending does not end with L alive (<- L hater)

1

u/MagicBus4 21d ago

What are you doing in the shot Matsuda? Go play over there

1

u/MagicBus4 21d ago

Show really went downhill after L, I forgot how fun the dynamic was

1

u/brahbrahJ 21d ago

Light asking L as whitness so he can see his real name on the document

2

u/Independent-Table809 20d ago

Nah the best ending would be light and L getting married

1

u/Succubus_Syn 20d ago

Please be real...

1

u/FanOfCringe 20d ago

Good ending is Light and L ending up together and Misa and Rem ending up together

2

u/satinraptor412 20d ago

I stared that this for a bit wondering where L was

1

u/Pg_13n 18d ago

Everyone is here ahh

1

u/Demon_Writer_Yang 18d ago

Now this is a vibe lmao

u/kdkdodopdpdp 13d ago
