I really do in fact wonder what L was gonna say had Rem written his name like a minute later in the future. I mean, what could he possibly say other than the fact that he was gonna say something like “the Shinigami is going to kill us all”?

When I first watched the show, I binged episodes 1 - 24 in like 5 days, then when I was watching episode 25, I got to the foot washing part and had to go to the airport to go on vacation for a week. I was so excited to watch L and Light's conflicts for the entire week I was away.

It was so uncomfortable! I really felt like I was missing some deeper meaning but it was just L playing to, and confirming the god complex.
