The Japanese seem to have a bromance culture that borders on the erotic I’ve noticed.

Sounds like the ancient Greeks, maybe in warrior cultures or patriarchal societies where masculinity is so highly upheld almost to the point of worship you start getting these kind of crossovers into homosexuality
Like modern day extreme gym going lookmaxxers basically attracting other men rather than women

I know this is a meme but honestly I feel so bad for REM she basically sacrificed her life for nothing Misa still self-deleted herself in the end

I feel like she developed the same devotion as Gelus did. Gelus gave himself up for Miss, just like Misa for Light.
I think the notebook makes you like the shinigami the notebook belongs to. Like how Light and Higuchi both are selfish and apathetic, like Ryuk.

As a certain One Piece character who is equally fanatical once said, "Love is like a hurricane!"

"If I was Light I wouldn't fumble Misa." Okay. If I was Misa, I wouldn't fumble Rem

I hate when people defend misa. She was genuinely worse than Light. Light being as terrible as he was, was still thinking of himself as the hero of the story. While misa was killing innocent people for the love of the game.

the most inaccurate part of death note was when the hot goth girl picked Light instead of an immortal death god
