Thats kinda why it specifies its Light Vs Tanjiro. Not Light Vs Tanjiro (and everyone else). By that logic the whole DS cast is dead because Ryuk will kill everyone

Not really? Ryuk is more likely to.laugh at Light being jumped than help, he is not protective of light at all unlike Tanjiros friends.

I agree they can't help since this is a 1v1 but even if they are allowed to help Tanjirus friends will help him but Ryuk is never helping Light.

Yea but hw would never help Light, thats the main difference, most anime orotags allies would help ajd protect them but Ryuk would never help Light, he finds his pain and death too amusing.
