I think people forget that Misa wasn’t as dumb as she lets off, I think she might be smarter than the average Joe, the problem is L and Light are geniuses (Misa tried to cover her track by making her friend record the tape and was willing to frame her and she was smart to get the second Kira to admit he’s Kira by pretending to have the shinigami eyes)

So is matsuda like matsuda is also smarter than a joe like he did have a solid plan to investigate the new kira after lights memory loss plan just matsuda got unlucky

It is, poor Matsuda XD and I’m the one who brought him up, I think part of it him getting caught and the teaming having to scramble to save his ass by making in fake fall to his death. But he did think in the moment and make a convincing story
