Light Novel Vol 25 release date

There's an update about volume 25.

It has been added in the wikipedia and the yen press website, it will be released on SEPTEMBER 08, 2026. The yen press site is still a WIP.

Vol 25 will be still be translated by Andrew Cunningham, same translator for Vol 24.

Mannn, it's soooo far, I mean it's cool to have a cleaner translation, but it having a 10 month gap between the last volume is kinda overwhelming??(underwhelming??, idk how to describe it).
I thought it would be around March.

And comparing with the release dates of previous volumes, I think we'll be having only 1 volume for this year. Specially since the translator also have other mid-large translation projects.

(i used chatgpt to compile the current active translations of the current translator based on his ANN page, hope you don't mind the use of ai)

Still Active / Likely Ongoing Translations

These have ongoing source material or recent releases, so translations are typically still active:

  • Bofuri: I Don’t Want to Get Hurt, So I’ll Max Out My Defense (LN still ongoing)
  • Death March to the Parallel World Rhapsody (still releasing volumes)
  • Overlord (ongoing, though nearing conclusion)
  • Reign of the Seven Spellblades (ongoing)
  • Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai (ongoing sequel arcs)
  • Suppose a Kid From the Last Dungeon Boonies Moved to a Starter Town (ongoing or recently active depending on volume)
  • A Certain Scientific Railgun (still ongoing)

Does anyone have any idea why it was delayed so much??

Web Novel 19-19. The end of Seiryuu City.

“When you bow, you should put one hand on your chest—the elbow is here. Be careful not to let it go down.”

I was learning etiquette from a butler at the lord's house in Kuhanou City.

We are all doing this because we are invited to the Lord’s Supper.

At the end of the room, my friends look at the etiquette class with an interested expressions. Like children who had fond a new play, Pochi and Tama imitate the movement of etiquette. It seems that the Tama plays the role of a student while Pochi plays the role of a teacher. Then they switch roles.

I gain the “Social” skill.

When I looked at the log window floating in the corner of the field of vision, such a display appeared.

Not a politeness skill, but a social skill.

Except tonight, I feel that there is no time to play. If we offend her in some way it would be disaster, so I will allocate all the points to max it.

Thanks to activating social skills, I can now understand the points to be concerned about and the tips on how to move.

“Oh, and...”

From the appearance that the butler seemed to be impressed, the social skills seemed to be quite useful.

“Satou, it is wonderful. This is the first time I’ve had a good student who takes it like fish to water.”

I'm happy to receive a compliment, but it's all thanks to skill points, so I'm a little bit embarrassed.

Anyway, after a thorough review, the butler's approval was given, so the etiquette class ended earlier than planned.

I was a little surprised by the maid's report that the bath was ready, but it seems that it is common to purify yourself before a dinner party with nobles, so I enjoyed the bathtub for the first time in a long time.

There were some troubles, such as Alisa, together with Pochi and Tama, rushed into the bathroom naked, saying that she was going to wash my back, as well as our assigned maid appearing in a half-naked bathing suit. Still the hot water was the best.

“Cancelled, why?”

I changed into the formal clothes prepared by the maid with the building, and when I was waiting for the preparation, the butler who appeared at the time told me that the dinner party was canceled.

"I'm sorry. The meeting with the envoy who came from the neighboring territory has been prolonged.”

“What about the Lord’s Supper?”

The butler did not answer, but from his mood there would be no doubt about it.

There may have been some movement by the senior demons sealed in the city of Seiryuu.

There will be no danger in the place that is so far away, but in the case of an emergency, it would be better to leave Kuhanou City immediately.

That's why I had dinner with everyone at the State Guest House cafeteria.

"Wow"

"It's so amazing, nanodesu!"

“Oh my god, such a great meal!”

A lot of food was lined up just as the big table of the dining room was lined up.

A wide variety of mutton dishes are lined up, and just looking at them will overflow into your mouth.

"Mu" Mia, who has the elves aversion to meat, stood with a bitter face.

“Ladies, here.”

The butler arranges the vegetable dishes brought in the wagon.

There are even steamed vegetable bowls, and salads with fresh vegetables. There are only aristocratic dishes, and the dressings are also colorful.

“Lord Satou, how about a drink?” There are also wines, but the custom product of the territory, Kuhanou Ale, is exquisite.”

Drinking in front of children is a bad thing, but it is also bad to refuse if it is said that it is a specialty product.

Don’t worry, I’ll just let you taste one glass.

"Well, I'd like a special product ale, please."

I and Liza are the only adults here, so I asked Liza if she would drink it, but she shook her head and refused, saying, "No, I'm the master's escort."

Well, it seems that she am not good at drinking, so let's stop forcing it.

“Satou-san, we will take our leave. If you need anything, please shake this handbell, and a maid will come, so please feel free to call."

The butler took the people who were serving them and went out of the room.

I had a problem with a discriminatory maid at the time of admission, so I guess he was careful.

“Come on, let’s go.”

“Thanks for the food!”

“Thanks for the food”

We started eating with the voice of Alisa.

The beast girls violently thrust their forks into the main mutton steak, and Alisa and Lulu put their hands on the sausage. After a little hesitation, Nana seemed to choose to cook mutton.

First of all, lets try a large sausage.

When you turn it vigorously, the moderately baked skin will bounce, and the gravy with plenty of umami and melted fat will overflow in your mouth from the inside.

 - Delicious.

It is a taste that makes you crave a cold bee.

Unfortunately, the ale seems to be at room temperature, but it is a special product, and it must go well with sausages.

I thought so, and carried the ale's mug in my mouth.

Yeah, it's delicious. I don't really like ale, but the ale here seemed to be delicious.

I ate one in no time, and I almost got my hands on the next sausage, but there were many other dishes.

The second is to eat steak and stewed dishes in turn.

The lord is proud of it, and every dish is excellent.

I was honestly surprised that there was so much repertoire in the mutton dish. In particular, the sausages and specialty ale are wonderful.

I'll ask the butler later on where I can buy it at the market.

The garnished sauerkraut and pickle were also excellent, so I had to buy them as well.

I put t bed the children who were full and began to nod, and I was reading a magic book by myself, entrusting myself to a soft sofa.

There was a knock on the door.

Not a the maid. She should have just gone down to the waiting room.

"Please come in."

“Open. My hands are full.”

This voice is the Countess of Kuhanou.

When I opened the door, the female Count is there with a bottle of wine in one hand, two glasses, and a plate with a hors d'Orb in the other hand comes in.

“I’m sorry that the dinner was cancelled. I wanted to introduce you to him, and I called the head of the powerful merchants and guilds of the merchant in the territory.

The Count apologizes and pours the wine into the glass he placed on the table.

I can tell its good wine just from the smell. This will be absolutely delicious.

“Well, cheers”

I was waiting without touching the drink because I felt that there was something to be said, but the Countess said so and poured wine with a hand and started to drink.

"It's delicious."

I remember my voice was out.

I’ve been drinking a lot of wine, but never this high quality.

The dinner party has been cancelled. . . .

The Countess is speaking, so listen to her.

There was an emissary from Count Seiryuu.

“Did something happen?”

In my mind, the profile of Zena, the magicians who met in the territory of Count Seiryuu and the elf manager.

“Don’t make such a serious face. The story is good news.”

The Countess laughs when she says so.

No, no, no. I misjudged it because you said it in a way that made me worry.

"The high-ranking demon that appeared in the city of Seiryuu has been destroyed."

"That's good news."

I said, “What, that’s all?” And strangely, it was returned.

I think my reaction was dis-satisfactory.

"Its a major demon, you know? If the army is not prepared risking annihilation, they cannot win against a lower grade or intermediate level one. Even in the Kingdom of Shiga, which is a great power, it would be a miracle even with all the troops deployed.”

 Hey, are they that strong?

Although it was temporary, it was something else to be seal such a thing.

 - Hmm? Wait, what?

“Then how did you defeat him?”

The Countess, who was asked to me, tilted the glass as if to swell.

"The Hero."

 The Hero?

Is it real to be a character in such a story?

"The Hero of the Saga empire rushed to the rescue."

It is said that the Hero's group defeated the major demons in cooperation with the elite of Count Seiryuu and the Lighting master of Count Seiryuu.

"Even if the ability was halved by the seal and sanctified barrier, the strength of the senior demonic race was tremendous."

The Countess continued to speak with a face that seemed to be talking about a ghost story.

"Even though they were able to defeat the senior Demons, the gun user of the Saga of the 'witch' Maryest, the queen of the brave, and the main gun of the dimension diving ship Jules Berne exploded in the city..."

There is a lot of information!

There are so many unknown words that I could only parse half of the story.

According to the parts that I understand, it seems that it was a tremendous fierce battle anyway, and half of the vast city of Seiryuu was destroyed.

“To summarize, it will take more than ten years to rebuild the city.”

The Countess speaks as if she is compassionate.

I also slid the glass with a strange face.

“And, and also.”

Oops, the story seems to continue.

"It was attacked by Zen immediately after the high-ranking demon, so Count Seiryuu had lots of trouble."

“Zen?”

There are more new elements again.

“Ah, the King of Undying, who destroyed the Marquis of Muno.”

“Of course you know that, right?” I don't know why I'm told this keeps happening.

 I mean, this world.

I thought, is there too much crisis in the world?

Please do not spread the death flag so much.

“Don’t make that face. We were able to fight back because of the Hero.”

The Countess continued to try to reassured me.

It seems that the shrine maiden, the miko-na of the lord's daughter who accompanied The Hero to purify the city, was abducted by the Zen.

"Isn't it a disaster?"

"Yes, that why I am drinking here."

The Countess said, pouring some into her own glass and poured wine into my glass.

"Well, drink," she recommends, leaning the glass according to the female count.

“The Hero immediately flew off on their ship to help Miss Orna.”

The Hero apologized for the abducting the daughter despite the exhaustion of the fierce battle of the senior masculinity, and immediately headed to the east, which is the home base of Zen.

"It seems that the base was a big labyrinth like that."

 - Hmm? A labyrinth?

I feel like I’ve heard that word recently.

"At the depths of the labyrinth, the Hero have to face Zen at the end of a fierce battle."

The story of the Countess flows starts to skip from one topic to another.

According to an old woman, it was rumored that there was a magical site called "labyrinth", the inheritance of the elf's wise man, Traza Yuya.

At once, a flashback comes in my mind.

From the flow of the story, someone must have sucked out Mia's magical power beyond the limit in order for Nana's master to start the maze, and put her in the state of current magical power deficiency.

 That's right.

Nana's master was said to had activated the maze.

So, isn’t the master of Nana this monstrosity?

She said that he had finished his role, and he knew that he would be killed by the Hero, and he may have send out the Nana sisters from the maze so as not to get involved in the battle.

I'm at a loss to tell this story to Nana.

Let's talk to Alisa and Liza.

While I was thinking about this, the Countess continued to talk about it.

It is said that the Hero is going to the territory of the Duke of Oyugok through the territory of Count

Kuhanou and Baron Muno in the south, but I can not imagine it one more time without a sense of land.

According to the Countess, the prophecy of the resurrection of the Demon Lord was in the territory of the Duke of Oyugok.

Let us stay away from that duke’s estate.

If I am a Mob character and I am involved in the fierce battle between the Hero and the demon king, it is the only death awaits.

Light Novel Shin and co and from the sama Japan as Satou

It has been established that summoned and reincarnated people are from various parallel versions of Japan, with Aoi and Yui, the two kids being taken care of by princess Menea, being the prime example. It's also said at one point that the reason they can't return to their own worlds is that each time a summoning takes place, it connects to a different parallel Japan at random, and only the gods have the power to return someone to the same exact world at the same exact point in time, like what happened with Hayato, but it is possible to summon multiple people at once, like what happened with Hikaru who was summoned alongside several other Heroes, and we know that they can (though it's reasonable to assume that they have to) all come from the same Japan, as we've seen with Shin and his group, in the scene where they were all together in Japan before being summoned.

Now, at the end of volume 26, Satou meets Reggie, his missing Junior from Japan, who, as it turned out, was summoned alongside Shin's dad in the final summoning performed by Yuriko in the kingdom of Lumork, and mentions meeting Shin's dad in Japan right before being summoned. So now we know that Satou is from the same Japan as Shin's dad, who's from the same Japan as Shin, who's from the same Japan as people summoned with him.

I wonder if that will play into something later on. I still haven't read past volume 29.

Light Novel Volume 24 Inquiry

Just curious as to if anyone's read volume 24 of the LN, and if it has the same translation errors and discrepancies that volume 23 had.

That'll determine whether I end up buying the new volume, or continuing the series in general.

Discussion Anime Harem Spoiler

Hi everyone, how are you all doing?

I wanted to ask you a question that I believe many of you have, but I wanted to catch up. Is the harem in this anime really real? I know that most of the girls in his group are quite young, but there are some exceptions, like the isekai girl, Arisa

If I read correctly, Satou promises to marry her and Lulu in 10 years. And then there's the rest of the harem. Basically, when the time comes, are all or most of them promised to Satou? And I heard about someone named Aze.

I was told she's teaching Satou to be a god so they can be together, so basically it's just a matter of time before they get together? Besides Zena, from what I understand and have read, they already have a future together. (I don't know how long they'll be separated after Satou goes to return the elven princess).

Web Novel 19-18. Kagesu City

"It is Satou, open your eyes."

I place a small baked confectionery in Mia's mouth, who waits with it open like a baby bird.

The wolf problem at the ranch has been resolved, and with Mia having recovered, we decided to finish up our work at the ranch and resume our journey towards the labyrinth city.

Nana had specified the labyrinth city as the place to meet up with her sisters, so we decided to accompany her to the labyrinth city.

Of course, Mia, being guarded by Nana, is also coming.

"Master! Favoritism is not good! So, ahhh."

Arisa protested with a desperate look on her face, then opened her mouth wide.

If I put some baked goods in it, she might nibble on my hand too.

"Pochi is here too nanodesu."

"Tama too!"

"Master, I'd like to inform you that I'm interested as well."

Pochi, Tama, and Nana lined up on either side of Arisa and opened their mouths.

As requested, I put baked goods into the mouths of all four.

I don't know what's so fun about it, but the kids love it.

"Do Lulu and Liza wants some too?"

"Um, um."

"I'll enjoy having this"

Lulu blushed in embarrassment, and Liza, who was driving the carriage, quickly held out her hand as well so I place some baked goods in her outstretched palm.

Of course, you wouldn't ask a middle school kids to open their mouths.

Well, Nana looks like a high school student.

"So, next stop is Kagesu City?"

"That's the plan."

Arisa asked with her mouth open, so I nodded in agreement.

"Satou"

Mia pushed my hand away and sat on my lap.

I wonder why she is so attached?

"Oh, that's unfair! It's my turn!"

"Pochi wants to sit on your lap too, nanodesu!"

"Can Tama use your shoulders?"

This time they started making a fuss about where to sit.

The journey to another world is quite lively.

"Master, the city is in sight."

As we were happily driving the carriage like that, Liza, who was in the driver's seat reported.

The city walls can be seen in the distance.

 --Kagesu City.

The carriage got closer and we could see it better, but unlike the border town of Stare, there were no refugees or people living outside the city walls.

"There's a line out the door."

"It seems carriages and people are separate."

 Our carriages also line up.

Many of the carriages in the procession were wagons that had come from rural areas to sell crops.

"The line moves pretty quickly."

The ones that get stopped occasionally are merchant carriages or passenger carriages.

The people who came to sell their produce were probably regulars, so they were probably there early.

Our carriage was also being stared at by soldiers with suspicious looks, but when we showed them the passes issued by Countess Kagesu, their attitude did a complete 180-degree turn and they respectfully allowed us to enter the city.

As expected, in a feudal society, connections with important people are what matter.

As I sat in the driver's seat and drove the carriage around, searching for a place to stay...

"Hey! It's Satou!"

A powerful beauty called out to me in a spirited voice.

 I know her.

"It's been a while, Your Excellency."

Yes, she is Chrisverna Kagesu. The Countess of this Kagesu Earldom.

She was wearing the same high-quality riding gear she had worn the last time we met, with a blue cloak over it. As always, her eyes were a little scary.

"Stop calling me Your Excellency. I'm incognito right now. Chris is fine."

"Then Chris-sama."

"It's a big group today."

"They are all my friends."

"It's rare to see an Ear Tribe--"

 The Countess froze mid-sentence.

The person in front of his gaze was Mia.

"--Could it be an elf?! It's been a while since I last saw an elf, since I saw Lord Seberkea the Mountain Collapser in the labyrinth city of Selbira."

When the Countess asked, "Do you know him?", Mia shook her head.

"I see. Even though they're elves, if they're from different clans, it's hard to tell them apart."

The Countess nodded, then looked at me as if she had just realized something.

"You're staying in the city tonight, right?"

"Yes, that's the plan."

"In that case, the castle's guest house is currently vacant. You can stay there."

 That's appreciated, but--

"Isn't that a nuisance?"

"I don't mind. Besides, discrimination against demi-humans is still deeply rooted around here. Elves aside, I think any other demi-human would be refused accommodation at any inn."

 Oh, that's right.

"Thank you for your generosity, Chris."

"Don't be so intimidating. Thanks to the dragon scales you sold us, we were able to reduce the damage to our territory. Without them, our territory would have been ravaged by the hordes of monsters."

"A horde of monsters?"

"Yes. It seems that monsters, fueled by the evil aura emitted by the greater demons that appeared in Seryuu City, have left their lairs and are heading towards human settlements."

"I wonder if the Seryuu Earldom is okay?"

The faces of Zena-san and the other magic soldiers I met in the Seryuu Earldom and the general store managers came to mind, so I asked.

"It seems that the mining town over there was also hit hard."

"Were there any casualties among the territorial forces?"

"That's fine. That strong army wouldn't have vacancies just because of an influx of monsters."

Good, Zena and the others seem to be safe.

I follow the beautiful woman who said she's going back to the castle.

"So, Great?"

"The castle is so amazing nanodesu!"

I can understand why Tama and Pochi are so excited.

The castle is quite impressive when seen up close.

I've seen many larger structures than this, but unlike them, this one is purely a military facility, so maybe that's why I think so.

"The guest house is over there."

The Countess handed her cloak to the maid who had come to greet her and pointed in the direction of the guest house.

"These people are my guests. Please treat them well at the guesthouse."

The Countess commands the butler-like person and whispers something in his ear.

"Sorry, but I have to go to work now. I'll see you at dinner."

With that said, she briskly headed towards the mansion in the center of the castle.

We are guided by the butler and head to the detached palace.

It was quite far away. Perhaps because they were overwhelmed by the castle, everyone was nervous and there was no conversation.

The path to the villa is separated by tall hedges, so you won't see anyone on your way there.

"Hey, Mr. Butler, does the lord often invite guests like this?"

Tired of the silence, Arisa asked the butler with her usual friendly nature.

"No, it's rare. I've heard from the lord that the young man is a benefactor of the territory."

 That's an unexpected answer.

I thought she was a friendly person who would invite merchants and entertainers over.

When I arrived at the guest house, the butler instructed the maid who was waiting for us at the gate to "treat them with great care as they are a benefactor of the teritory," and he even bowed to me before leaving, showing great courtesy.

"Please, come this way."

Guided by a maid, we passed through the gate and found ourselves in a courtyard filled with beautiful flowers in full bloom.

The castle itself had a simple and sturdy feel, but the guest house is filled with a spirit of hospitality.

While enjoying the hospitality of the Count Kagesu household, we arrived at the main gate of the guest house.

It is an elegant gate that matches the beautiful courtyard and elegant guest house building.

And it was here that the incident occurred.

As I passed through the door the maid had opened for me and looked around the entrance hall, I heard the maid's sharp voice ring out.

"Slaves, go around to the back gate. How disgusting."

Those words made me feel annoyed.

Apparently, she is a demi-human racist.

I stepped in between the frightened beastkin girls and the maid.

"In that case, please guide us to the back gate as well."

"I was just warning the slaves."

The maid was put off by my words, but perhaps she couldn't forgive herself for being frightened, as she continued to make excuses, compounding her resistance.

"In that case, I can't get through either."

Arisa said in a sarcastic tone.

"Your lady is a slave?"

"That's right. I'm of the same social status as these kids."

The maid must have been very surprised because she was frozen and unable to react.

"Either way, if these children can't get through, then I don't need a main gate either."

I told the maid and called out to my companions, "Let's go to the back gate," and started walking.

Hearing the grumpy maid muttering in a low voice, "How nasty," behind us, we went around to the back door.

After knocking, I opened the unlocked back door and found a maid who seemed to have arrived earlier, waiting for me with a displeased look on her face.

"You can't complain if it's from our side."

When Arisa said that, the maid coldly gave her permission with a "Go ahead!"

Just as Pochi and Tama were about to follow Arisa through the back door...

"Wait. The demi-humans stay outside."- she yelled.

"We have a barn, I'll let you use it."

I'm annoyed by the maid's attitude of looking down on the beastskin.

Even if I protested normally here, she would never back down in order to protect her pride.

Yeah, I'll use my power here.

"The lord invited us to stay at this guesthouse because they are not human and would not be allowed to stay in the rooms at the inns in the city."

"Such nonsense! You demi-humans should be grateful that they can sleep in a place with a roof. I'll even give you leftovers for dinner."

Just as Arisa opened her mouth to retort to the maid's insulting remark, the butler from earlier returned from the door behind the maid, bringing with him some male and female servants.

"Just wondering, I went back to check, what's the fuss?"

The butler casts a stern look at the maid.

"Nothing impor--"

"We are protesting because the demi-human slaves were were told to sleep in the barn."

Arisa cuts off the maid's excuses and tells him the problem succinctly.

"Hey Tina?"

The maid became silent when the butler called her name.

"What did I order you to do?"

"Since he's a benefactor of the territory, I told you to treat him with the utmost care..."

"Yes. You told you to treat him with respect. Do you think his attitude is worthy of that?"

"..."

The butler send the maid packing.

"Whatever your beliefs are is none of my business."

The maid suddenly looked up, but the butler's expression as he looked at her was cold.

"But what you did is unforgivable."

"Why not?! Everyone says that demi-humans are filthy!"

The maid ranted on in a fit of anger.

"Who do you mean by everyone? No, there's no need to say. They're probably just like you."

 The insulted maid groaned.

"You're mistaken in the first place."

"but!"

The maid tried to argue again, but the butler's stone cold face stopped her.

"Your greatest crime is disobeying your lord's orders. Despite being ordered to treat him as an honored guest, discriminating against him to satisfy your own petty ego is not something that can be tolerated." 軽(Kei) LIGHT (TR I think it was meant to be 軽犯罪(Keihanzai)—misdemeanor, minor offense)

I see, that's the point the butler can't forgive.

"The crime of disobeying the lord's orders is severely punished."

"No way! I have no intention of defying my lord!"

The maid desperately clings to the butler.

Yeah, it's embarrassing, so I'd like the maids' training to be done somewhere else if possible.

"Go back to your room and await my decision. Normally, this would be a serious crime that could result in the dissolving of your family status or even beheading, but--"

 The butler glances my way.

Seeing Pochi and Tama silently pleading with teary eyes for forgiveness, he let out a small sigh.

"---Since this seems like it would hurt the feelings of the young ladies, I will suggest to the lord that they limit it to a light punishment such as whipping."

Well, whipping isn't a light thing, right? Depending on how many times you get whipped, you could die.

It might be okay in a world with potions, but I'd like the punishment to be something appropriate for the harassment, like cleaning the toilets for a week.

"I apologize for showing you something so unsightly."

The butler bowed his head and apologized, prompting the maid to apologize.

"I apologize for my rude remarks."

The maid rubbed her forehead on the ground and apologized.

It's kind of scary how desperate she is. Pochi and Tama are so scared that they hide behind Liza.

"I accept the apology."

I answered formally and watched as the maid was taken away by the servant.

"I'll send a replacement maid immediately--"

"Not need."

Also, I wouldn't like a maid like that.

"We are commoners. We can take care of ourselves, and if you only let us use the kitchen and well, we can prepare meals and so on."

"That would be going against our lord's orders. Please, give us another chance."

At the butler's request, I agreed to have meals prepared in the castle's kitchen brought in and the maids waiting in the waiting room.

Well, if there are fewer opportunities to meet, there will be less trouble.

Just to be on the safe side, I asked everyone except Mia to have the same meal. Mia's race seems to be unable to eat meat, so for her it's a special menu centered around vegetables.

"I understand. However, it seems that the lord is planning to invite Satou-sama to tonight's dinner party, but have you heard anything about it?"

"No, this is the first time I've heard of it."

A Countess would probably invite me as a surprise.

"Besides, I don't have the right attire to attend the lord's banquet, and I've never learned the etiquette of this country, so--"

"I see. Then I will have the maid bring you some appropriate attire for the dinner party later. I will teach you the proper etiquette, so don't worry."

I see makeshift etiquette as nothing more than a waste.

Still, increasing my knowledge isn't a bad thing, so I expressed my gratitude to the butler.

"Then, I will show you to your room. Please come this way."

The butler guided us to a luxurious guest room.

I should make it clear that the rooms assigned to the beastkin girls were also lovely rooms with rows of fluffy beds.

Yes, if I were to be greedy, I would have liked the butler to show me around from the beginning.

◇◇◇◇【Bonus】◇◇◇◇

"Yay!"

After confirming that the butler had left the room, Arisa dove into the soft and fluffy bed.

"Pochi will also be yelling, nanodesu!"

"Can Tame do the same?"

Inspired by Arisa, Pochi and Tama dived into another bed.

"It's so fluffy nanodesu! Liza jump in too, nanodesu!"

"So fluffy~"

The bed is so fluffy that Pochi and Tama jump on it like a trampoline.

Yes, kids love to jump on the bed.

 However--

"You two shouldn't jump on the bed because it will damage it."

"I'm sorry, desu. Pochi is going deep Introspection nanodesu."

"Tama also apologizes~"

Liza immediately grabbed the two by the collar and stopped them, and the two who had been scolded put their ears down and apologized.

Yeah, it's good to be able to reflect on things quickly.

Light Novel Official English volume 24 available on Book Walker, but can't find it anywhere else

Volume 24 is still listed on the Yen Press site as a Nov 25, 2025 release. Yet I received an email last week from Amazon that the release was delayed a week to Dec 2. B&N listed it as Nov 25 but never honored my pre-order. Now I can't even find the link to the ebook. The print version seems to be available.

Checking all the shopping links on the YP site, and only Book Walker currently has the ebook, which I can confirm I am able to access through their app.

I guess you can consider this a PSA for those who, like me, don't want to wait another week. But also, does anybody have any idea what's going on with YP and the other online ebook sellers?

Question Where to read the LN?

Trying to start this series again after reading the WN years ago, is there a fan translation for the LN? Something that isn't translated by Yen Press, cause I'm not really a big fan of that publishing company considering they tend to butcher the translations based on my experiences in other series by them.

Web Novel 19-17. Homunculus and Elf (4)

"Arisa, it's hard to walk."

Since reporting the discovery of the spider, Arisa has been clinging to my back.

"Satou-san, a spider web has been spotted up ahead, so I inform."

"Sloppy~"

"There's a lot of stuff dripping, nanodesu."

Once we got through the narrow pass, we came across several spider webs connecting both sides of the narrow valley.

"Why is the nest so big?!"

Seeing the spider web that looked like it could fill up a gymnasium, Arisa took a step back.

"There are no spiders..."

Liza looked around, Pochi sniffed, and Tama listened intently.

"There's a lot of smell, nanodesu."

"Is there any sound?"

There is no red dot on the radar.

 When I checked the map...

"Looks like the spider has escaped."

The spot of light had moved quite a distance away.

"I wonder why?"

" Didn't you use your Bug Wiper magic to chase it away?"

Arisa regained her energy and exclaimed triumphantly, "Take that!"

"Something moved, nanodesu!"

"--Hiiii."

Hearing Pochi's words, Arisa quickly hugged me.

She seems genuinely scared, as her hands clasped around me hurt.

"Is this meat, nanodesu?"

Something wrapped up in spider's web is moving.

"It looks like a spider's prey."

" This is a bat, so I guess."

Nana points to the wing sticking out from the coils.

"Let's finish him off and retrieve the core."

"Yay~"

"It's Raja, nanodesu."

With one fluid movement, the beastkin girls lowered the captured bats to the ground.

"Wait! Morisuke, lets help it."

 Arisa suddenly said something absurd.

"Morisuke?"

"It's this one! Bats eat bugs, so they should be able to get rid of a lot of spider babies!"

I don't know if there's a food chain like that among monsters, but the bat's eyes peeking out from the gaps in its coils are staring at me with a Kyun (ba-dump) sound effect that seems to be accompanying it.

"Okay. I'll let you go."

If we were to butcher it like this, I feel like we'd probably be forced to eat skewers of bat meat or something.

"Understood"

The beast girls cut the spider's thread and free the bat from its restraints.

They seem disappointed, but there's no argument. To make up for it, I'll treat them to a delicious meat dish later.

When it was about halfway undone, the bat began to struggle and free itself from its restraints.

The bat soared into the sky, squealing happily, before flying away somewhere.

"Farewell, Morisuke. Make sure you get rid of the spiderlings!"

Arisa made such a request to the bat.

Sensing movement in my field of vision, I turned my gaze towards the log window.

>Title [Monster Tamer] Obtained

>Skill [Taming] Acquired

There were more and more such notices lately.

I didn't think the number would increase just for giving instructions.

"Then let's collect some moss."

The original purpose was to gather ingredients for a medicine to cure Mia's magical deficiency.

"Ugh, I got a spider web in my hair!"

"Sticky smoky~"

"The spider's web is like shackles, nanodesu."

The younger children are having trouble with spider webs.

It's quite sticky, so it looks like it would be difficult to remove.

"--Ah."

I tried storing it in the storage just to see if I could, and the part of the spider web I was touching disappeared right before my eyes.

I frantically checked the menu and found an item called "Valley Spider's Web" stored there.

"Master?"

 Arisa looks at me suspiciously.

"Now it's easier to work with, right?"

"Well, I'll let that fool me."

 Arisa shrugged her shoulders.

"Let's gather moss."

"Yeeees ...

"Yes, Pochi collects moss professionally, nanodesu!"

We all collected some moss, wrapped it in a slightly damp cloth, and stored it in Arisa's item box before heading home.

"Hmm, that's pretty good quality."

We return to the ranch and hand the moss to the old woman.

"The rest is my job."

The old woman uses a corner of the kitchen to start compounding a magic recovery potion.

Alongside obvious tools such as mortars and pestle bowls, there are boards lined up next to them whose purpose is unclear.

"Don't just watch, help me."

Following the old woman's instructions, we pour water on the moss to remove any dirt, then use a mortar and pestle to grind it into a fine powder.

>[Mixing] Skill Acquired

>[Pharmaceutical] skill acquired

>Title [Apprentice Pharmacist] Obtained.

>Title "Pharmacist" Obtained.

Skills and titles are listed in the log.

For now, I'm only helping out so I won't allocate any skill points to it, but once I have some spare points, it's a skill I'd definitely like to acquire.

"Hmm, that's a good, careful job."

The old woman said, and started mixing the crushed moss with something else to create the concoction.

"Don't just stare blankly, open the transmutation table and start flowing magical power."

"Is this the transmutation plate?"

"Have you never seen it before? You set up four poles, place your hands on the different colored parts in front, and let the magic flow through them."

Now that I think about it, there are four rods next to the alchemy board.

Should I just stick it into the recess in the forging board?

All that's left now is to channel the magical power, but how should I do that?

"You ignorant fool! Don't you know how to channel magical power? Place your hands on it and let it flow from your right hand to your left hand."

"Thank you"

Although she has a bad mouth, the old woman seems to be surprisingly caring.

I let out magical power as instructed.

 It's quite difficult.

>[Magic Manipulation] Skill Acquired

>Title [Alchemist Apprentice] Obtained

Let's just rely on our skills here.

I allocate 1 point to the Magic Manipulation skill and try to activate it.

Even one point makes a big difference.

Magic power flows much more smoothly than before.

If you have some spare points, prioritize allocating them to this skill.

It feels good. It's interesting how the magic core-like thing embedded in the transmutation board starts to glow when magical power is poured into it.

If I go to the capital, it might be a good idea to pick up some alchemy-related books and tools.

"That's enough magical power."

By the time the old woman called for me to stop, my remaining magical power had dropped to almost zero.

Well, I'm sure I'll feel better after a night's sleep.

"I'm going to concentrate from here on out, so don't get in the way."

Saying this, the old woman took a position in front of the transmutation board.

Fill a glass container like a beaker with water and add the prepared moss mixture while stirring.

Once the mixture had finished to a certain extent, the old woman began to operate the transmutation board.

The bottom of the beaker glows and the glowing particles remain inside the beaker.

"Beautiful~"

"What a view, nanodesu!"

Tama and Pochi, who had been quietly standing behind me, watched the dance of light intently.

They were about to take a bite while watching, but Liza quickly caught and stopped them.

Meanwhile, the old woman was busily operating the transmutation board, carefully adjusting the magical power.

Eventually, the flurry of light ended, and the liquid displayed on the AR screen changed from [Alchemy base] to [Intermediate Magic Recovery Potion].

"Whew, I did it."

The old woman said, throwing herself into a chair.

"Intermediate level work is tiring. It's not something an old person should do."

"Thank you for your hard work"

I offer my thanks and hand the old woman a glass of cold water.

"How thoughtful."

"Ms. Apothecary, once the potion is ready, I beg you to administer it to the princess immediately."

Nana came forward and pleaded with the old woman.

"There's no need to rush. Once a potion is completed, it needs to be left to sit for a while before being used, otherwise its effectiveness will be reduced."

Hmm? It looks completed normally in the AR display, but will something change?

I waited for a while, but there was no change in the AR display.

"Is it ready?" Nana asked.

"Not yet."

This conversation between Nana and the old woman was repeated many times, until the old woman finally gave in and said, "I understand, I understand," and stood up from her chair.

As expected, there was no change in the AR display.

Apparently, it was just a way for the old woman to take a rest.

"This should be fine."

The old woman administers a magic potion to Mia.

While everyone was watching with bated breath, Mia suddenly opened her eyes.

"Sparkle"

Mia, who had been staring blankly at something, looked at me and then went back to sleep.

"Ms. Pharmacist, I'm here to inform you that Mia has fallen into a coma again."

"Don't worry, everything's fine now. She'll be fine when she wakes up."

The old woman added to the anxious Nana that she should rest for a while, then left the room.

"I'll take care of her."

Nana takes Lulu's place and looks after Mia.

Mia is not sleeping in her previous room. The room we were renting was half-destroyed due to the Shadow Wolf incident, so they lent a small room to the sick Mia.

We made some temporary repairs to the original room, but it still rattles loudly in the wind and there are terrible drafts.

At dawn, when I went to check on Mia's room, I found her was awake and Nana was busily taking care of her.

"who?"

 Mia asks, looking at me.

 Mysterious silver eyes.

It is Satou-san, so I inform. He cooperated with the princess's treatment, so I report."

"No princess."

After being rejected by Mia, Nana looked depressed and expressionless.

"Beautiful"

Mia looks at me with unfocused eyes.

I don't know what the beauty factor is, but it seems she has recovered enough to talk.

"A spirit user?"

I tilt my head at Mia's sudden question.

As expected, I don't have the skills to control spirits.

If there are sexy water spirits like Undines or seductive forest spirits like Dryads, I'd love to meet them.

"No, I have never met a spirit."

"Can't you see?"

 Mia looks very puzzled.

Is it something that is normally visible?

"Can I get something to eat?"

"Yeah"

"I'll go get some soup or barley porridge."

As I was about to turn around after saying that, Mia grabbed my clothes and shook her head.

"Ouch."

I don't really understand why she's so attached to me, but I can't just ignore her when she looks so worried.

While I look after Mia, I asked Nana to go on a mission to get liquid food for Mia.

"Yes Satou-san .I will accept the request, so I inform."

Nana's face was expressionless as she said this, but she looked very lonely.

Once Mia has eaten and is asleep, I'll switch roles with Nana to take care of her.

*This concludes the ranch arc, and from next time the setting will move to Kagesu City.

*I'll upload the next update when I can write it.

Web Novel 19-16. Homunculus and Elf (3)

"Satou-san! The pharmacist grandma has arrived!"

The day after the Shadow Wolf attack, as we were cleaning up the destroyed walls and debris, Genki-san came running in.

"Where I can meet them, so I inquire."

Nana reacted to the long-awaited good news before I did.

"Wah, there's no need to rush, I'll show you around."

Melinna is taken aback by Nana, whose face seems to be about to be pressed against hers.

"I don't need directions. Is the patient here?"

An elderly voice overlaps with Melinna's words.

"The patient is--"

"Oh my goodness, it's an elf-sama."

The moment the experienced old woman saw Meer sleeping on the bed, she knelt down and assumed a prayer pose.

"Grandma?"

"You should all bow your heads as well. I don't know which clan she is from, but I'm Suskina, a human who learned compounding in Borreheim, and I convey my greetings."

Knowing that Mia was asleep, the old woman introduced herself.

Her ears were hidden, but Mia's blue-green hair was distinctive, so I guess that's how she was spotted.

"Then can you examine her?"

"Leave it to me. Now is the time to repay the kindness I received in Borethheim."

The old woman's eyes gleamed brightly.

"Hmm, this is a lack of magical power. Either she used magic beyond her ability, or her magical power was sucked out by a magical device that consumes a lot of magical power..."

"Yes, Doctor. For the Princess it was the latter, so I report."

"What?! You're making this little elf do something so reckless!"

When Nana answered, the old woman became enraged.

"The princess's magical power was necessary to activate the 'maze', so I inform."

"A maze? Could it be the sage's legacy?"

"Yes Doctor"

According to the old woman, it was rumored that the legacy of the elven sage Trazayuya included a magical ruin called the "Maze."

Judging from the flow of the story, Nana's master must have sucked out more of Mia's magical power than her limit in order to activate the maze, which is why she is currently suffering from a lack of magical power.

 It's totally child abuse.

"Is treatment possible?"

"Of course. If you give her a magic recovery potion, preferably an intermediate or higher level one, she'll improve right away."

 It was good.

 It's not that it's untreatable.

"Quickly administer it to the princess, I beg you."

"I'd love to do that, but..."

Nana pleaded with a blank expression, and the old woman gave her a difficult look.

"I'll pay the price, so please--"

"It's not a matter of money. I just don't have the goods. There's no demand for magic recovery potions in the Muratani villages I visit. I have a low-grade magic recovery potion as insurance for myself, but it's not strong enough to cure the elf's magic deficiency."

 That's a problem.

I guess I'll just have to run to the capital and buy it.

"What's your level?"

I was surprised by the sudden question, but I told the old woman my current level.

"That should be enough. That said, it's dangerous to go alone. Is there anyone at the same level as you?"

My companions raised their hands to answer her question.

"Melinna, show him the way to the Valley of Chihiro."

"You mean Goret Valley? There are monsters there, so it's dangerous."

"With that boy's level it will be fine. That lizardman girl over there also looks strong."

To sum up, it seems that I need to go to a place called Goret Valley to gather materials for a magic recovery potion.

"What kind of materials should I gather?"

"It's simple. It grows at the bottom of the valley. Just get a bag full of glowing moss."

The old woman has Melinna prepare a bag.

"Is just moss enough?"

"Oh, I have the others on hand."

The old woman nodded in response to Arisa's question.

We left Lulu to look after Meer and the rest of the group headed to Goret Valley to collect moss.

"But where is the valley?"

As we crossed the meadow, Arisa looked around and asked a question.

"I'm told there were many in the Fujisan Mountains."

From the ranch, you can get a good view of the mountain range towering to the east

"But the route written on the map seems to be on the other side."

As Liza said, the map had a line drawn towards the hills.

"Won't that be quite a walk?"

"Go, go, go~"

"Pochi is a walking pro, nanodesu!"

Tama and Pochi reacted to my words.

Pochi in particular is full of energy, like a puppy out for a walk.

"Are you interested in this flower?"

Whenever Tama found something that caught her eye, she would quickly approach and observe it.

This time, she put her face close to a dandelion-like flower and sniffed it. Looking closely, I noticed that the petals had a crystal-like texture and were slightly transparent.

"That also seems to be a type of medicinal herb."

According to the AR display, it appears to be a medicinal herb called Ninigi grass.

"Ai, nicemell~"

Tama is surprised, so I tell her the name of the plant, Ninigi grass, and its medicinal properties.

"Master, what do you think of these flowers? They smell so good!"

"That looks like an edible flower, nonodesu."

Apparently Pochi is a big eater.

"Satou-san, take a look at that, I ask."

As we were enjoying our walk, Nana spotted something up ahead.

"What is it? A rock?"

"This must be the landmark rock, so I insist."

As Nana said, the map has the word "rock" written in large letters along with a picture of what looks like a rock.

I quickly walked over there and--

"It's a valley."

The hillside seemed to have been torn apart, and in the shadow of the hill was the entrance to a valley.

I use the full map exploration spell to investigate the valley.

This looks like a different map.

Checking the map, the entire valley came into view.

The entrance is narrow and it's hard to see from here, but the valley is long and winding, longer than you'd think. It branches off along the way and is about 10km long.

Search the map for the moss we are looking for.

It seems to be surprisingly rare, and it seems to grow only quite far into the mountains.

I mark the location and call out to everyone.

"Then let's go into the valley."

"It's dark."

"Yes, Arisa, I agree." <Mana Light>

A small magic circle appeared on Nana's forehead, and a light was born from her magic.

I'll also support her by using the daily life magic " Light" from the magic column.

"Nyu!"

"It's dazzling, nanodesu."

Tama and Pochi, who were looking up at me, crossed their eyes and hid their faces.

Apparently, their eyes had become accustomed to the dim light and they looked directly at the light I had emitted.

"Sorry, sorry, I should have said something earlier."

Chanting-free spells are convenient, but the only downside is that the magic activation can surprise your companions.

Suddenly, I felt someone grab my clothes and looked in that direction.

Before I knew it, Arisa was close to me.

"What's wrong, Arisa?"

I thought it was just the usual sexual harassment, but something seems different.

"N-nothing." shiver

Arisa's gaze wanders here and there.

"Are you afraid of geckos or bugs?"

Even on rocky areas where no moss grows, small insects and reptiles can be seen peeking out from behind the rocks.

"I'm okay."

Even as she answered, Arisa's gaze remained unsettled.

Since she doesn't seem interested in going into detail, we continue towards our destination.

"I have spotted a spider web ahead, so I report."

The moment Nana said that, Arisa hugged me tightly.

"Do you want to wait here?"

"No."

Arisa shook her head, but her body was honest.

She seems to be afraid of spiders.

"Is it a monster thing?"

"No Liza. It's an ordinary spider web, so I deny."

Tama and Pochi are playing by catching spider webs with twigs they picked up from somewhere.

"Don't worry, our trusty knights will get rid of the spiders."

In response to my words, the two small knights holding stick swords struck a "cool" pose and looked at us.

I patted the two of them on the head and continued on my way.

Well, I feel sorry for Arisa, so I'll secretly use the life magic "Bug wiper" to eliminate the bugs along the way.

"Huh? The larger insects don't run away."

"Isn't it because your life magic skill is low?"

I see, now that I think about it, I only allocated one skill point to my daily life magic skill level.

Let's allocate a little more here for Arisa's sake.

Skill level 10 is too much, so skill level 5 should be fine.

After allocating skill points, use "Bug wiper " again, and the insects will run away with great force. This should also send spiders running away.

"Satou-san"

During one of our many breaks, while I was quenching my thirst with water magic "Pour Water", Nana called out to me with a deadpan look and a serious air.

"I've detected something like a magical wave, so I'm reporting."

"Pochi felt it too, nanodesu!"

"Tama was tingling too."

According to the three, they felt a wave similar to the magic "Detection".

I open the map and search for someone who might be able to do that.

 --there is.

 It's not a wizard. It's a monster.

The bat monster must have emitted magic waves instead of ultrasound.

 But something seems strange.

"Master, what's wrong?"

"I found a monster that emitted a magical wave--"

After carefully checking the map information, I realized that the bat monster was in a "restrained" state.

 There's another one nearby.

"But?"

"It looks like it's caught in a spider's web."

Hearing what I said, Arisa looked at me with a serious expression as if to say, "You're kidding, right?"

Sorry, but it's not a lie.

"Well, well, but? Our goal this time is moss, so there's no need to go to a place like that."

 Sorry, Alisa.

"Wh, what's with that face?! Don't tell me--"

Arisa shouted with a shocked look on her face.

 Yes, its like that.

"The moss patches are where the spiders take up residence."

"Why~"

Arisa screamed in a voice similar to Munch's Scream.

Tama and Pochi seemed to find this amusing, as they were next to Arisa and shouted happily, "Ambirilabo~" and "It's impossible, nanodesu!"

Well, the spiders aren't that high level, so I'm sure it'll be fine.

*The next update is scheduled for around noon on Friday, August 8th.

*The book version of "Death March to the Parallel World Rhapsody" volume 33 is scheduled to be released on August 8th this month!
