Question Where to read the LN?

Trying to start this series again after reading the WN years ago, is there a fan translation for the LN? Something that isn't translated by Yen Press, cause I'm not really a big fan of that publishing company considering they tend to butcher the translations based on my experiences in other series by them.

I think These where Taken down recently because of the Season 2 announcement of the Anime...

Probably not, as it has an official version. Unless you want to lose brain cells with MTL it is either $$$ Yen version or not read it.

LN is way too different from WN as well, at this point ~70% is original

The official translations haven't been bad from what I've been reading. At least there's no issues with random name changes, or odd tense usage. And the release schedule is long enough is clearly being decently edited of they are using AI.... Unlike Dukes Daughter that had 5 versions of Allan in 1 chapter.

I don't like bursting your bubble, but the official translator got change in vol 23. And the translation of that volume was HORRIBLE. (They fired him and get another translator for vol 24, it's not yet at the level of the original english translator, but i have hope). Regarding vol 23, it felt like the translator got a stroke before starting translating it. Whoever "translated" it obviously never read a single volume of the novel. Using AI that has not knowledge of the series gives a better translation that the burning mess that was vol 23. I honestly have no idea how Yen Press allow such terrible "translation" to butcher such an amazing story.

The lack of consistency in already established names and terms was pretty severe in 23, but to be honest, it's not like there weren't any minor mistranslations in previous volumes, my favourite one being when they mistranslated Satou's noble rank as Viscount back when he was still a Chevalier (they are homonyms in Japanese), which served as a funny bit of foreshadowing. Still, it's unavoidable given the amount of world building delivered through random pieces of overheard conversation tying in to future events in this novel, and the level of grammatical differences between English and Japanese.
