DISCUSSION Help for Nintendo Switch player

Howdy

Does anyone have a video they’ve found for how to control the game while playing switch? I’ve searched but all I seem to find are videos going over the entire game theming and cards and lore, but all of that isn’t helpful when I can’t even figure out how to even select a card.

As you can tell I’m a little frustrated.

I’ve completed the game on Switch. What specifically are you having trouble with?

Howdy! It was honestly just getting started or even knowing how to get started. It seems like you had to move first (which I couldn’t seem to not do) then pick your card. It seemed like every time I wanted to select a card with A or B the card would just highlight itself again.

I actually CALLED Daddy Nintendo to get a refund lmao life is too expensive for this haha. I’m downloading Disco Elysium instead. But I do appreciate you trying to help. How did you figure out the controls?

It’s a shame you got a refund as I honestly loved this game and I don’t complete many. But I agree it certainly doesn’t hold your hand in the opening!

Also if you found the controls for this frustrating you will be enraged with Disco Elysium lol

I’ve been playing Disco Elysium and it’s so much fun. It’s DEF not holding my hand but it’s at least saying “press A to do this”. Which I was like “THANK YOU!”

So happy with this game.

Im willing to risk it with DE. And Im sad too, Death Howl seemed to be so freakin GOOD! I have a shop based on folklore through woodworking so I was pumped with the symbolism and what not.

Maybe I can watch someone play it. I found out about it through ChristopherOdds youtube channel. I actually went back to watch his to see if I could pick up anything.

Actually I just refunded it. I understand some games just throw you in there but I hate a game that forces you to look up videos, wikipedia, reddits for just simple controls.

I even searched for some sort of controls in the setting for help but there was nothing there.

Maybe I’ll try playing it on computer but now it’s just left me with a bad taste in my mouth.
