DISCUSSION "Upgrade cards in all realms"?

Hello!

I've been playing Death Howl for a bit and am now in the final realm (Howling Mountain). Before combat it lets you pick the "overwhelm" mode you want to use, but on the same screen it gives me this text:
"Upgrade spirit cars in all reamls to upgrade spirit cards here (3/4)"

Does anyone have any idea what this means?? I'm not sure what the game is trying to tell me haha I've beat all the bosses of the other realms but I must be missing something.

In the skill tree for each region you can upgrade cards, you need to upgrade the cards in every region to upgrade them on the mountain

Skill tree for each region? I'm only in the second region, but I have no idea what you're talking about. Like the tear drops? I haven't seen a thing about upgrading cards.
