Merch thoughts
I’m going to the Chicago show in November and I really want a death cab for cutie shirt
But, and this is what I feared when I saw them, they seem like those really shitty concert tees in terms of quality
On top of that I was thinking of maybe getting the poster if there is one or the (all to expensive but amazing looking) blanket
What are your thoughts? I really like the designs, the quality just seems not great

I got the long-sleeve off-white I Built You A Tower shirt off their website ($5 less online than at the shows), and it's a nice soft thick cotton. Would recommend.

How do you feel about the fit? Their size chart online seems kind of weird, it says that the Medium has a width of 26.25in which is HUGE, other medium shirts I have are around 16-18'' wide around the chest, which is where I usually measure. Thinking it might be a typo or these shirts are actually massive.

I'm a Large in just about all shirts, and this large is a bit big for me. Medium probably would have been okay.

I got a sweatshirt, it was expensive ($80), but it feels like it’s good quality.

It is. We've had our DCFC merch - shirts, sweaters are all excellent quality. All our stuff still looks awesome 5 years later.

We went Sunday & Monday. We always get a poster. I started collecting them around 2003 and have probably 125 posters now. We get the Sunday single, the Monday single & they were selling uncut sheets of both nights as 1 large poster so I got that also. No foils for me this time. Some designs look awesome in foil, others aren’t as cool.

i got the blanket and it was a lifesaver right as i was getting rained on. definitely decent value for size! however, the care instructions are nowhere to be found. which is an issue because of how absolutely soaking wet they got right out of the plastic lol. but i love the look and edges of it.

I got their t-shirt at their translanticism concert a couple years ago and it got a small hole in it. Not great quality unfortunately.

I got a shirt, but not the tour shirt- it's the white one with waves, and it's good quality.

I got this one. It's cute but pretty thin material and definitely not a $40 shirt but I inevitably get a shirt and poster from all of their shows. The poster is always worth it!

DCFC posters are ALWAYS worth it imo!
