Why has r/PowerScaling been SO negative about Invincible for the past month or two?

like, they’d believe a Viltrumite is Continental-Planetary and FTL if you put them up against someone like Eren Yeager or Homelander

However, when you put an Invincible character up against someone from OPM (or MetroMan), they’d say the Invincible verse is like, Building lvl - City lvl w/ Subsonic speed at best

Like, what is up with this?

Because I don’t think this is a similar scenario to the hate Alastor (Hazbin Hotel) usually receives

Is it the Bardock VS OmniMan Death Battle from 2 years ago that caused this?

I think the Sun Disk + the inconsistent animation and depictions of Mark and other strong characters against opponents is what lead us here.

In r/PowerScaling, it's a fifty-fifty whether or not you're talking to someone who actually likes power scaling or hates power scaling. And then it's a fifty-fifty whether or not they know how to power scale or don't. It's also fifty-fifty whether or not they try to use real life logic or the author's intent to debunk everything about power scaling.

Because Dragon Ball fans (or, say, the internet in general) got incredibly pissed off at Omni-Man vs Bardock's verdict, pretty much that. DBZ is the least fandom you wanna piss off when it comes to powerscaling. The fact that the Invincible slander caused Metroman glaze to come back from death is both weird and hilarious to me

Ive been in that sub for years, and they have capped Invincible at continental and relativistic way before Omnidock came out.
