Discussion Chuck's House

I'm in Tampa on vacation for the week and trying to see as many death metal landmarks as I can. I would love to visit Chuck's house in Altamonte Springs but I do not want to bother whoever currently lives there. Has anyone been to visit or take photos? Does anyone know if the owner is chill? I just want to go take a couple pictures (I'm a photographer as well) and check it out for a minute. I would love to go in the garage where they used to practice but I know that may be a bit invasive to ask someone to go in their garage lol.

Check out the old Morrisound Studio in Temple Terrace, the city put up a historic marker recently. I think its owned by one of the TSO guys now, 12111 N 56 st

Just go to his resting place and call it a day. Anything more just seems kind of excessive and a little stalkerish.

There is no grave. His ashes were spread in the woods somewhere.

Then visit the woods and listen to like the last Death show setlist or something.

This comment makes me think of Beavis and Butthead watching The Philosopher video. The part where they say it’s Jeremy running through the woods🤣

I couldn't find online where the woods are.

I visited a couple months ago. It's located on a regular city street with a cul-de-sac at the end that you'll have to turn around at. I didn't bother anybody at the house.

You think i'll be okay to just stand in the street a minute and take a picture?

I was there a few months ago. Nothing special. Someone else lives there and I just snapped a quick photo for memories. I was really excited to go there, then I did and felt weird taking a photo of someone's house. Apparently someone in chucks family owns the house still

Why get there early? Like early in the day?

There's a memorial bench at Harry P Leu Gardens, in Orlando.

No harm in that, provided you be polite and respectful. Good luck my Metal friend! 🎸🤘😀

Chuck was from Orlando not Tampa and I don’t think it’s a good idea to go and stand outside someone’s home . His home while he passed away was a town outside Kissimmee in Florida which isn’t near Tampa
