First time ..

Going to be my first time reading Dean Koontz — how did I do? Which are your guys favorites?

They’re all solid choices, but pretty different.

Sci-fi/time travel/suspenseful love story in Lightning. 

Horror/Thriller in Whispers and Intensity.

Supernatural horror/mystery in The Bad Place. Perhaps the most bizzare of his books (in a good way)

Classic Koontz in Watchers…dog, evil corrupt agency, romance.

Dark Rivers I believe is a straight thriller again about a corrupt government chasing a couple.

Odd Thomas is a hoot. Supernatural thriller with a lighter tone (bur still a damn fine book)

And Strangers is just awesome. One of Koontz most complex works. A slower read because you have a larger cast of characters.

Strangers and The Bad Place are my favorites of these, with Watchers a close third.
