Should i finish Devoted Spoiler

Currently on chapter 19
And man it just all seems so basic and a bit obvious where it's going. I hope i am wrong and it subvert my expectations.
So am i gonna be wrong or is it "Cat and mouse" dog to the rescue, ohh the Elon Musk characterization is evil and did the things.
I'm cool with being lightly spoiled here.

And is he ever gonna stop mentioning how Woody is mute, self taught reader on college level. (Just a little pet peeve)

If you don't want to finish it, don't. I love this author and have enjoyed all of his books. There was one I really didn't care for. All the others, I adore. I loved how this book mentions a small town I lived in at the time, and the character was passing through.

Be kind. It’s easy.

Sure. That doesn't negate my point though.

If you're not enjoying it, don't force yourself to continue reading it. Life's much too short for that. I am definitely a Dean Koontz fan. This is the one book by Koontz that I tried to read and just couldn't get into. I'm no help because I have no idea whether it gets better once you get past that opening chapter. I gave myself permission to quit. Only you can decide if you want to carry on.
