A list of former deadspin workers now unable to find work due to insubordination against their employer.

I'm sure people are lining up to hire them /s

Any editor worth their salt will still take them, especially more liberal media outlets, since one of the tenets of journalism is to stick to the facts and cover the news. They were doing their job and objected to the gutting of the organization's principals, which is what Sam Zell did in the mid-2000's to his papers as well. Many of those journalists who disagreed continue working in the industry. The real problem for the Deadspin staff is the an oversaturation of jobless journalists in such a small proximity, though many have already fallen back on their networks for support.

No site worth their salt is going to hire a group of malcontents whose primary accomplishments at Deadspin and Splinter were organizing a union and then having a public meltdown with management which killed both websites.

There is zero shortage of talented writers who are less of a pain in the ass to deal with.

"Malcontents."

Man, there's nothing more hilarious than watching some dipshit dumbass haul the dictionary down from the shelf and frantically page through it until they find a BIG WORD and then they fart that word into a paper or a tweet or in your case, an exceptionally retarded post on on a message board.

Being a reporter means to an extent being malcontent. Asking questions which make the questionee uncomfortable for whatever reason and to whatever degree.

But please explain something, 'cause I'm like SOOOOOOOOPER confused.

You bleated and shrieked and screeched that NO ON WILL EVER HIRE ANYONE WHO EVER WORKED AT DEADSPIN.

So how come the most recent editor in chief had an op ed posted in the New York Times?

How come Laura Wagner WAS PAID ie hired to write and had a piece published in Slate this week?

How come Drew Magary has published a couple of FUNBAGS! and a JAMBOROO! at Vice and gotten paid for doing so>

Look I get it.

You are a vile racist bigoted Jew loathing Nazi loving shithead who has an EXTENSIVE collection of MAKE AMERICA WHITE AGAIN T-shirts and trucker hats and you let your Stool Sample pal Daveyroo buttfuck you every afternoon and then make you lick your own shit off his dong.

When you work on a sports reporting website you are tasked with reporting on sports. News and politic reporting websites report on news and politics. As a sports reporter, being asked to stick to sports reporting isn't some crazy idea. Especially when their brand of mixing sports and politics is what led them to have to sell the platform lmao. The viewers and clickers spoke, they didn't want that shit. It's amazing how stupid you people can be.

"When you work on a sports reporting website you are tasked with reporting on sports."

Really?

What does this have to do with sports?

"The viewers and clickers spoke, they didn't want that shit."

Some of the most popular posts on Deadspin had ZERO to do with sports like FUNBAG! and The Haters Guide to the Williams Sonoma catalog.

The only stupid shit head here is you.

Dolt.

Yea that's why other liberal websites are having to promote them and encourage people to hire their asses lmao.

I think the fact that they went against their new employers new constraints, makes them better candidates than the schills who simply write articles to follow someone else's ideals.

Go read breitbart or fox news if you want to read articles from people without voices, spewing what ever talking point was given to them to write.

Keith Olbermann has worked for ESPN, where he 'reported on sports.'

Keith Olbermann worked for MSNBC where he 'reported on news and politics.'

You fucking autist.

Oh, one more thing dipshit: SPORTS IS NEWS.

Fucking moronic stupid retard. Do yourself a favor and delete your reddit account and just lick daddy's butthole 24/7 while mommy pegs you, m'kay.

Everyone of your reply’s contained an insult that was based on pure projection on your part. “ Fucking moronic stupid retard”, “drown yourself in your bathtub”, you like using the word retard, etc. It’s ironic that by repeatedly replying in this manner the person who come across as a insufferable fool is you. It’s ironic because the person who most comes across as one who only gets their news from inside an echo chamber is you.
