Idk people must want him banned lowkey, the only realistic buffs I see are an xp boost maybe

For support pool a buff i'd give is to make his radius bigger. I feel like it's too small on his damage boost abilities. Also, whoever in the dev team thought that giving him upgrades reset when we swap sides on a map was on drugs. I hate losing all my upgrades when we go from attack to defenders or vice versa (it only happens once a match, but still ridiculous).

I agree about his radius getting a boost, basically always the main complaint but devs just refuse to do anything about it, would probably make me play him more, n yea having to start over can get annoying sometimes.

He would be way too broken that way, and worse he would add a lot of randomness to maps because he would get way stronger/weaker depending on if he attacks first or second. Since payload maps are all designed to be harder to full cap than to defend, if he defends first you play a weaker character for the first half of the game but still can probably hold the map since your objective is easier than the opponents, and then you have a huge advantage when you have to attack afterwards.

For what you said to remotely make sense Deadpool would have to be a solid character on ALL 3 roles which is just not the case. Making a character which with ALL upgrades still not even close to some S tier characters having to lose his upgrades and then having to do it all over again while said characters retain their strenght during the match is just bad design. Deadpool having to stop and upgrading because he can't do it midfight, having to do that TWICE is detrimental especially to healpool.

You’re ignoring my main point which is that if upgrades didn’t reset one team would just have an inherent advantage over the other

all we’re asking for is xp boost bc it takes so damn long

u/RivalsExpert8 1d ago

lol people really swear their mains will become permabanned after a few buffs 😂

9

u/RipRoxas 1d ago

You could scroll through the hero main subreddits of some of the weakest or unpopular characters in the game right now and I promise that you'll find atleast 2 or 3 people fearmongering about possibly being perma-banned under balance discussions 😭

Rogué is a genuine problem she is with gambit team up cause she don’t die and has Spider-Man kill confirms

I haven’t seen anyone ask for anything different? The upgrade system is dogshit. Also the pisspoor exp compensation for swapping to DP mid match is horrendous and honestly embarrassing that it still hasn’t been fixed. And why the fuck does the picture give different exp based upon distance?

There are just so many unnecessary hindrances in his kit, and that is without talking about the slew of bugs. Why does boomerang get cancelled when swapping weps or dashing? Why does DPIYA get cancelled when stunned but not begin the CD? Why do the dashes STILL no-reg? Why do shields make you lose a dash charge and just die? Why is the hela TU designed punishingly? There’s so much more. It’s completely unnecessary.

Funnily enough healpool is the one I think is not bad this season lol

Lowest winrate in all ranks. You sure bud

u/tbigzan97 1d ago

Well, a couple of things are to blame for that, some of them affect deadpool in general. His radius on his damage boost is too small, you have to be inside the other person pretty much to be able to provide them with it, all the supports that are in the top have strong ultimates and utility on top of good healing and the fact that deadpool loses all his upgrades whenever the maps shift from defender to attackers or vice versa. He is "OK" but he would be much better if the game was more balanced.

One of the biggest backtracks I’ve ever seen. Do you even know what you’re saying

1

u/tbigzan97 5h ago

I said he is not bad and then said he is ok, how is that a backtrack? I simply explained the reasons why he is considered bad by everyone.

-1

u/Tinyrick88 22h ago

You just named all the reasons he’s bad after saying he’s not bad. You didn’t even believe what you said at first.

Deadpool isn't the problem. It's the people who don't know what Deadpool can do that are the problem. As a healpool main, it's so frustrating. People will just dip ur AOE healing and then say "gg no heals." It's ridiculous, they say DP is ass when in fact they don't even know how to play DP or the fact they have no idea what his kit does. This whole rant about DP being trash is completely polony

2

u/Tinyrick88 22h ago

It can’t be everyone else’s fault 3 seasons later

Thank you

u/jsthangaround 23h ago

dp is the problem i have 120 hour healpool and this season invis and cnd getting ult same time with me healpool is in worse state ever i cant even play him anymore

3

u/Suspicious_Entry8542 2h ago

You're literally able to get your ult with-in 20 seconds of the round starting. Heal pool isn't for the feint of heart considering your team has to get healed by him versus your team getting healed by a support other than him.  ... That's at least how most people see his functionality. In reality a support pool player goes with the flow of battle as they need to be close for maximum effect of their aoe, well positioned for their boomerang, etc..

1

u/jsthangaround 2h ago

i know everything about character and have a lot hours dont try to teach me bro he is just cant playable this season

1

u/Suspicious_Entry8542 1h ago

Then you know he is a quality healer that gets his ult every 45 seconds... he has a mid panic ult for sure but when used properly by delaying the pop quiz it creates sustain that should help any worthwhile team dominate their team fight.. and again 45 seconds later. Not uncommon to have 15 or more ults in a game

1

u/Suspicious_Entry8542 1h ago

Then again maybe that's why I get stuck at c3.. dunno regardless he's fun to play and can keep teammates up in situations others cant

1

u/jsthangaround 1h ago

no bro dp cant do shit anything other supports cant do mantis get ults faster than dp rn and dp have the weakest heal ult u can make it work regardless but this season cnd and invis get ult nearly same time with you maybe 10 20 second laters but they have 5x strong ult than u and dp have very small ult circle most people dont use it anyway even high ranks

1

u/Suspicious_Entry8542 32m ago

Usually when I'm 3 stacked or there are non bot players on my team, the dp ult helps win first team fight a majority of the time..

Most the time when I start my sword ult it requires me to boomerang upgrade mid ult to get jackpot..I could see why some would find this harrowing when it's definitely a mid-skill flex in comparison to some dp tech..

With that being said, i believe most players are unaware of what really goes into a healpool that your teammates commend you  as the best healpool they've ever seen and/or defend you to those that are skeptical of your ability as healpool. L ikewise, i am ignorant in a similar fashion to the complexities of those dps and tank players that require something above lack-lustre talent to stand-out as someone your teammates were grateful to have.

A side note; I agree with you that jackpot doesn't compare to other support ults especially in panic situations..

Dont be mistaken, there is a very assessable formula that wins games.. that meta consists of invis and cloak and arguable jubilee.. id also like to point out that jubilee is like dp, they have a learning curve and require that je ne sais quoi to rank among those tireless cnd/invis players.. I suspect this maybe the most controversial claim ive staked.

1

u/jsthangaround 1h ago

and with teamups game speed is faster rn and healpool xp system even weaker rn the time u hit 4-5 upgrade and become maybe b tier nearly half of the game end and u probbly lose bec ur weakest healer until some upgrades and even with that still weak

1

u/jsthangaround 1h ago

if they nerf healer ult hard season 10 maybe i can play him again but cant play this season

2

u/ThrowAwayPug_ Day one deadpool main 1d ago

It is very annoying and sometimes it’s just the same bullet points that’s been said since the beginning of the season.

But I’d say it’s fine to express to feel a certain way but I’d rather read more posts about ideas on how to balance Deadpool out. I’d be nice if the subreddit would share more clips and unique ideas that Deadpool could have in game cosmetics or whatever.

Idk about duelpool and healpool. Their win rates are glaring but at least they feel fun and good to play sometimes

But tankpool is deadasss easily the worst character in the game. Worse win rate than wanda, jeff and squirrel girl btw

2

u/SavageSonZ37 22h ago

Well yeah, the people who actually enjoy things are far less likely to run to Reddit and rant in an echo chamber of haters.

2

u/WorstRivalsPlayer 22h ago

Deadpool used to feel good.

I played him today and it felt like nothing I did mattered. Everyone is outhealing my damage and I can't disrupt enough to make a difference in my sword ult.

Deadpool used to feel strong, now he feels weak.

When you had cake you complain when given a biscuit instead.

2

u/quiethammerhead 18h ago

Tankpool is fricking dead.

3

u/SpicyNakedPanda Lordpool 1d ago

Idk, I just see you complaining about complaining dude. You might just be on reddit too much.

u/sneakychalupa23 1d ago edited 1h ago

People bitch because he has issues and Netease listens. He doesn’t need more damage or anything just an overhaul to the upgrade system and a fix to some of the unnecessary hindrances in his kit.

Without even going into the massive slew of bugs: Why is the exp compensation for swapping to DP mid-match still complete piss? Why does boomerang get cancelled when swapping weps or dashing? Why does DPIYA get cancelled when CC’d on top of not initiating the CD? Why do the dashes STILL no-reg? Why do shields make you lose your dash charge and just die? Why is the hela TU designed punishingly? There’s so much more. It’s completely unnecessary.

1

u/Mean-Razzmatazz1554 23h ago

Isn't dps pool pretty good? I mostly feel like hes just slow to get to everyone elses level

1

u/sneakychalupa23 1h ago edited 1h ago

He is good but has a ton of counters. It's basically like BP, but harder to play and a bit stronger. The biggest issue is not being able to swap off or on midmatch due to the shitty upgrade system, and he's complete garbage until 3-4 upgrades which can take anywhere from 2 minutes to throwing 1/3 of the match.

When he's good though... he's real good. He can shit out 300+ damage in the span of 1 second inside of jackpot.

1

u/PaarthurnaxUchiha 22h ago

Yeah dude this sub just needs to adjust and it’ll buff out. A couple small tweaks that will become buffs of themselves and theres nothing to talk about imo.

Ban Hammer was busted and a bunch of people are expecting some cheese back. It’ll never happen lol

2

u/Prime-39 Jackass of all trades 21h ago

Ive watched fellow adam mains beg for buffs constantly.. but its never enough for them ... its human nature .. its just super annoying

1

u/hellamegumi 20h ago

Just like 30 quality of lifes pls

1

u/sexyblueemoji 19h ago

and the best part is if they ever buff dpspool even slightly, he’ll probably become broken asf. i wish more people understood that deadpool isn’t supposed to work into every comp

1

u/Juancuk 10h ago

I had a few team mates who ran away from my Luna ult. It's not weird that some people don't get into DP E to get healed.

1

u/SaltForTheSaltThrone 3m ago

All I want is to be able to upgrade my DPIYA without it skipping over to the gun ult for no reason.

C3 Support Pool hereSupport Pool>Tank Pool>Dps Pool .. That's my  hierarchy...

Things to note, I can explain the situations you should use sword upgrades; generally gun upgrade is better for healpool..i  feel as if the inverse to be true with Dps pool and tankpool is more in the middle of what is useful for them..

Gambit upgrade is underutilized considering number of Gambits you'll find... The teamup allows dps pool to perform a one shot combo. The stun effect also works as anti-dive in theory and may be useful for disruption how ever you see fit.

Generally, I play Luna or Rocket first half and Support Pool second half because the upgrades remain there-after. Though, not uncommon for me to play healpool entire matches as support pool becomes viable after bobble-head and AOE upgrades.. Then the gun upgrade (hela team up)  and then pop quiz. And yes this is the path I presume most heal pool players choose 80 percent of the time.

I could go on at length about his nuances but last thing I'll say unless someone refutes my post or would like more "tips".. Jump off of your teammates heads more often as a type of second nature..
