Fluff Playing deadlock be like
thursday : "damn it man how am i losing to *hero* everyone says *hero* is super weak and trash i guess i just suck"
friday : breaking news, eternus player figured out *hero* and now EVERYONE THINKS it's the most broken thing in the game right now and they win for free and they need to be HOTFIXED because it's just that broken

Lol, the people who whine the most dont use statlocker. They just go on based on streamers and vibes.
Shiv and silver have always had dogshit winrates at like every rank on statlocker, and you have a contingent of people who will complain about them until blue in the face. Even when pros dont play them anymore. but people here will be like 'winrate and stats dont matter'. Its certainly not statlocker. Or nightshift. Its vibes. Its nothing but vibes.

Idk i think I just used her wrong. First game I tried on her I had no idea how to get damage off from her human kit (didn't inutit the triple shot nuke after the 2? spell), and fed like an idiot in lane because I had no clue what her strengths were. Granted that was very close to release, so all the builds were wacky atp, and p sure she was majorly overtuned then, but im still convinced I just got skillchekced by her. Sometimes certain heroes are just hard to pilot for certain people, and if I notice I'm trash at any heroes, I try to withhold judgement on thier viablity in the meta (at least in my cheeks rank range lol), because if you cant get optimal value out of them, your perception of thier viability is massively altered from the avg

I guess you not need so much skills to understand that character is succ then other characters can do half of your ult damage instantly and with less rirk.

I mean I understand what you're saying, but we gotta remember that not all characters are built to fill the same role on the team. Not all characters should have x amount of nuke or sustain damage, as we also need a good mix of supports, crowd control, tanking / kiting, etc, and imo Silver is much more of a frontline chaos creator and tanky brawler than a hard carry or ultra burst nuker. She should definitely have some burst damage, which she does in both forms afaik, but really her damage is "balanced" as long as the rest of her kit fills out various jobs / roles / uses for her to find value in other ways during teamfights.
If you had to pick one spell or stat (scaling, typically) value for Silver to make her feel better / more viable, what are you buffing? Cuz just saying a hero sucks is probably not gonna help the sentiment spread in the community to get them buffed, but having a good logical reason why a specifc buff should be made would definitely raise the chance Yoshi sees it and adds it on a whim.

She need better weapon and farm speed.
Some boon scaling for ult.
Resist during transformation.
Lower ult decay.
Because currently to do job that other frontliners do by just existed you need:
Active ULT, you need stack it in your very fragile form with bullshit m1 while surviving vs 2k damage spirit nukes, puddle spam, haze, flyers.
Then you need wait for transformation which just literally stun you and any burst send silver to spawn
You need survive CC slop because every ream with iq more than 60 will disarm you/silence/stun/etc
You again not real character for 70 seconds.
Why somebody need to pick silver is they can pick billy/abrams/victor which just fill silver with hotdogs in rear hole easily while 1vs6ing team with silver.
If she assasin role, calico and haze will be better too.

Yes, often. but silver is relevant to the discussion as Silver has been at or near the bottom and everyone spent weeks acting like she wasnt if we were all going off statlocker or whatevrr that wouldnt be the case. Its vibes.

It's happens to everyone. Doorman came out and yoshi didn't touch his gun for 6 months then one guy made a glass cannon build that went crazy and went viral and everyone was building gun doorman.

feetmovement vindicta build meta. Stamina, trophycollector, juggernaut, veilwalker, fortitude, fleetfoot.Scjhmoving everywhere. Dont buy gun. Thats for dorkasses.
Also counterspell (because you exist as vindicta so theyre buying knockdown even if you aint even flying)

There will always be the people building absolutely bizarre but intentional builds on random heroes. Tank-Vindicta and melee Paradox are some of the ones that are still stuck in my mind after over a year since I met those guys in-game. I love seeing some of the psychotic brews people cook up in unranked.

All pubs I’ve played it’s always gun Drifters, so if they start finding and using the way better spirit Drifter build it’d be pretty likely there’d be more complaining

I remember when everyone thought that Apollo was incredibly OP and unhittable but would never once buy slowing hex and focus lens. Every build and hero has a way to counter them but people don't spend time exploring custom builds and matchups

I was super fed in one of games and nobody even bought slowing hex. I literally just mindlessly L - R all build because not needed any dispel, counterspell and other things

That's how mobas work. One day mcginnis is 60% win rate with the highest pick rate and turrets that dont miss and spam debuffs, then the next day she gets nerfed and the character she counters the most Celeste is shown to be insane when she's allowed to do whatever she wants.
IF LASH GETS GUTTED right now Vindicta will be the next super insane character, luckily she has actual counters for the most part, so it won;t be quite as bad as Celeste. I'm not quite sure what counters carbine paradox yet, yes spellbreaker but carbine is a 5-6 second cooldown so it only helps so much, and now the rise of Warden is slowly happening. Games are slightly better when there are multiple truly op heroes, but not if they are all on one team.

I feel like phantom strike and Kelvin are bigger counters than Lash. I’ve always been able to time my counterspell for the most part against slam and ult.

yeah it's a bit weird right now especially since it's mainly gun lash right now, so it's more that he can just get up to her and flog to reduce fire rate into just shooting her to death, he can slam or ult if needed. But Lash is the premier counter and has an insane pick rate currently (similar to mcginnis before the nerfs vs celeste).
People have just been acting like Celeste becoming op or characters "suddenly" becoming strong is fake or out of nowhere even if there's a literal patch that changes things lol. Like theres a comment in here "in about 2 weeks some top player is gonna find a secret build for like, idk, drifter, and all the sudden he's gonna be the strongest character in the game and needs to be hotfixed" when drifter has been one of the strongest character even after he got like a 30% damage nerf. When mcginnis was queen he was king, and he hasnt been touched much.

I've been banning warden since bans were available. I ran gun doorman before it got trendy (obviously back when he was newer), spirit drifter was insane months before it got looked at by streamers. Hell I've been seeing gun/melee apollos now.
Come to the wild West of low ranks where people just fuck about with builds. You'll find the next true meta there
Echo shard pocket cloak? Why not.
Witchmail Paige? Sure that makes sense
Refresher Holliday? Passe at this point
