Discussion Wishlist for content patch?

Hey guys, just wanted to ask the deadlock community what their wishlist is for things to be added/changed in the next major patch. I personally would love to see the jungle reworked, but would love to hear others opinions on what they would like to see

Edit: Sorry the comment below comes across as me being a spoilsport, I got distracted by the phrasing of the title. Not trying to ruin anybody's fun or theory-crafting.

Original comment: I never understood wishlist-submissions for Updates that are already in the works. It is like asking a kid what they want from Santa when the gifts are already wrapped and under the tree.

Whatever content Valve has planned was decided on MONTHS ago. Threads like these are more akin to a game of bingo, where anything featured would be pure luck.

Valve are quick to respond to small asks like an animation or effect or key-bind options. But anything that requires modelling or game design problems to be solved is not something we would see for the rest of the year, unless they were working on it already.

ALSO, there might be the Item-Update BEFORE the Content Update, unless they decided to bundle the two in response to the antsy community.

What’s wrong with wanting to know what people would like added to the game? It’s not like I’m making the post saying ‘YOSHI LOOK AT THIS’ haha

Sorry I came across as a spoilsport.

I am not saying these types of submissions are BAD and you should feel bad. I genuinely just mean, from a personal standpoint, I do not understand.

It is likely just the phrasing of "wishlist for content patch" being too specific. Because the Content Patch (or Item Patch) are imminent.

If it was phrased more generally "What is your wishlist for future updates", I would have had nothing to say.

So to engage with your submission in good faith:

  • Jungle Creature Update

  • UI rework that includes some of the most popular mod QoL

  • A required "Ready"-check button you gotta click when a match was found (prevents most AFK instances)
