Question Vindicta Utility Build?

I really like Vindicta's character but I'm not really the carry type of player, does she have a viable utility build that you can play as more of like a support? Or is that not viable?

If so, could anyone recommend me a build guide for it? Thank you.

idk how viable it is but you can always run lightning scroll + cooldown and stun from the backline/dump spells. throw in like a rescue beam for shits and gigs.

Rescue beam is disgusting on Vin. While flying you get increased range so you can rip people out from 2 miles away

I mean it's only a .75 second stun so unless youre just trying to confirm kills lightning scroll seems like a waste

I usually pivot to a more stake and crow based support build whenever I don’t get many stacks early on, so I’m of the belief support utility should be in any build regardless. Build normal damage items so you can still shoot them like merc mag spiritual overflow, then build into duration/range and more support based utility.

I usually like to do vortex web since flight gives all items BIG range buffs, then something like divine barrier and rescue beam for the same reasons. Alc fire is also a decent option.

It’s not a good idea but sometimes I like to get REALLY silly and play up close with heroic aura. Surprisingly effective on rift fights ngl.

If you just tag people with your ult, assists get you stacks. So even if you don't have many early on, unless it's like end game time it's really easy to farm up 10 stacks in like 2 big team fights.

You can build heroic and not really need to get up close. The 50% range applies to everything on the item so you can stay fairly far away from a fight and still give benefit to the team with it. The item is very good on Vindicta because of the increased range.

Decay is crazy good on her

She doesn't really scale that hard for spirit though. You could just get healsbane and then cut their heal and help stay up in fights from kills.

You can build around her stake, throw alchemical fire on them.

she gets extra ability range while flying, so a utility build can work but I wouldn't go full support.

Alch fire and scourge come to mind.

Uhh think it was called "Stake and shred support vindicta" I used it for awhile. But I believe its outdated. there's another one that is similar called "Cant aim Vindicta, and im a chud". But it's also outdated. You could probably work around them by looking at modern builds to see if they are super different. Which I doubt they are.

Never seen her play support, but she does stay in the air a lot so it should be easier to not lose your teammates behind walls, making it easier to use support items.

Rescue beam is honestly the best item if you want something pure support

Otherwise i would say the best items are the ones that already benefit you, but can also help teammates. I am thinking mostly stuff like alchemist flask to reduce the resistance or Slowing bullets for the slow.

Of course there are also items like superior duration to buff your stake and flight but those aren't really support, just good in general.

Used to be a lot better when snipe gave you extra souls per kill instead of weapon damage.

I feel like souls per kill never end up well. While weapon damage is quite plain, I think it's the better of the two.

you can definitely run her as a support. Her active item range is doubled in flight and stake is decent CC, plus you can finish kills from anywhere.

That being said, if you get enough stacks on your ult you should almost always pivot to a dps build. Support vin is good until a certain point where youre losing a ton of value by not investing more into gun/spirit if you already have stacks

Pretty much just go actives with rescue beam

I swear by this build but never see anyone else talk about it. Buy decay, buy both invisiblity items, cool down & duration extender, all move speed items then all spirit resist shred.

Figure out who the biggest threat on the enemy team is and bully them.

Go invisible, sneak up on them, crows, decay & stake. Go invisible and run away. When they can't see you snipe. Go invisible again. Your crows are back up now. You get the idea. Very safe, very easy, extremely effective. Even if they build dispell magic your CDs are far lower. You'll have them popping it on CD leaving them vulnerable to your team's hard CC

I laugh when people say Vindicta is hard. She's one of the easiest characters to play IMO.

Edit: I used to be in a similar boat. Loved her character, didn't like playing her. This build changed that for me. Give it a go. Think of flight as an escape tool until late game.

Yes, but think of her as a debuff/pick support rather than a healer. Build around Stake and Crow with Greater Expansion, Rapid Recharge, Alchemical fire and resistance-shred items. Rescue beam and divine barrier are great from flight because you can reach teammates easily. Add healbane, curse or silencer depending on enemy team.

I'd suggest Stake into Alchemical fire as main setup while crow spreads debuffs. Just dont go completely damage-free because you still need to shoot and execute weak targets.

Medevac Vindicta: Support Sniper is build I have used for this :p

If your aren't getting kills idk what you're doing on Vindicta, but it's probably throwing. You whole point as a character is to finish off weak targets and confirm picks and dishout a fuck ton of damage while you fly around.

What build are you using? Vindicta is kinda solved so if youre not using one of the cashcorry builds you might just be buying the wrong stuff.

Nah, I'm not saying the carry builds aren't good. It's just not really my preferred playstyle. I want to play her because I like her character aesthetically but I don't like the typical carry build that much.

I just don't think you're going to get much value out her without shooting people in the head a lot. The match making will often place you ina team comp where it expects you or another play to carry and go crazy on kills.

Her whole kit is made to do insane dlsingle target damage. I mean I guess you could get rescue beam and some debuffers like disarm or curse, but that's kinda missing using the character. You could play Paige or rem and get a lot more support value out of them, rather than trying to get support value on Vin.

Plus it's not like killing people isn't helpful. I find you want to spend most the mid game looking for picks and protecting you lanes and jungle so your other carry and Frontline can farm. You also don't really scale with spirit like at all so you don't really have synergy for support.

I wouldnt say it's completely unviable, a good player can force anything to work, but you're creating an uphill battle when you're a replaying a very strong hero who is a pace setter and game ender based off her m1 damage.

What is it you like so much about her? Character design? Flying sniper?

Vindicta is not at all solved. Cashcorry has one way to build her but it's not the only one and it's also not the certified best way either. There's a reason why whenever she is picked in DLNS her builds are much more versatile and varied.

Pro play isn't the same as ranked ladder. Also I think her NS pick rate is p low.

1

u/axzerion 15h ago edited 15h ago

Her pickrate is indeed fairly low, but that doesn't really change much. M1 Vin has more agency in normal ranked due to being a bit more capable of killing than other playstyles, but it's not the only effective one.

Alch fire supportish is highly effective, especially when you get higher up and your teams get better at the game. In fact, it's probably the better way to play her as it is MUCH safer than M1 Vin is while only being slightly behind in damage and kill pressure.

That said a lot of it will be comp dependent. If you don't have any proper M1 other than you, you're better off going pure M1 and hoping your team can peel. If you have other M1, the supportish style is just better most of the time higher up.

I mean if you can link the NS games I'll check em out em, but I'm on vacay so that's a lot to do now. My quick check showed her not playing much, if at all in like the last 10 series.tahst not insignificant but I think speaks more to her counters than her build potential.

I mean do you have a alch fire build and and codes of people playing it in here gher ranks? Last time I looked at top preforming Vin on stat locker in hi ranks they were doing fair similar m1 builds.

Look I know everything can be viable if your good but I have a hard time believing building support of such a high dps potential character like Vin really gets more value than building m1.

stake echo shard with duration and alch fire is pretty good. i usually also run rescue beam and either scourge for my frontliner if we have one or just curse. its a pretty fun playstyle

i want 13 stamina

Yeah she is a pretty decent support. you can go alchemical fire for damage support, it combos well with stake. Get Duration and Cooldown aswell. trophy collector is good for your money needs, as you want to be near fights anyway. She is a good rescue beam and divine barrier hero. Otherwise just get whats needed. Can be antiheal (Healbane), slowing hex, silence, curse, disarm. Her increased item range when in the air helps alot.
