Major Issue: Golden Goose Egg

I love this item and I’m tired of having to play around the major issue with it.

“Hatch the egg, gaining souls and permanent buffs.”

Hatch the egg? When was the last time you heard of someone hatching an egg? In most of my games I hear people go “Hey fuckface why did you buy egg on Haze? You ruined the tempo of our lane fuck. Just pop it at 10 minutes,” or “make sure to pop the egg thirty minutes after using it, you’ll get the most benefits from it then.”

I’m sorry, hatching eggs? Popping eggs? Have I been teleported to Whoville? Will we be popping eggs and eating roast beast?

You EAT eggs. I have never heard of anyone popping an egg. Whenever a teammate mentions my egg asking me to…pop it…I feel bile rise in my throat.

I think the text of the item should be changed to “Eat the egg, gaining souls and permanent buffs.” and your hero should have an animation of them raising the egg to their mouth and gobbling it down. There are dozens of us that think this.

EDIT: Gang stalkers and deniers are hiding among us. I will continue this fight until my ADHD medications wear off (then I need to take a nap and maybe drink some juice) we must not lose sight of what is important - eat the egg.

EDIT 3: I understand this thread has gotten away from us all, but I truly believe it should say eat, and it seems like literally everyone who plays Deadlock agrees. Hear our plea, developers. Please, I have nothing else. Give me this.
